First time visit in over 15 years and it's still fabulous. Lovely staff, warm welcome. Wonderfully homemade flavoured pies, proper chips, and tasty homemade desserts. Fantastic price too. Definitely recommend.

A good old fashioned pub with a core of regulars who enjoy a pint and a chat. I called in for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed, Roast lamb, yorkshire puds and five veg! With lashings of gravy. Just the job for a hungry soul looking for sustenance. The decor isn't special but the staff were great and the service was prompt, what's not to like.

Pub has it all, garden, nice loos, lots on tap, dogs allowed, pool, tv, football on big screen in the garden in summer, pies, great down to earth menu for food after I've been to my allotment up the hill

Very nice local pub, with greats beers and food. I recommend the pies. They do 2 pies for the price of 1 on Thursday. I've added a picture of our delicious deluxe pies (steak & ale and lamb)!

me and my daughter went here for a meal. I had a prawn cocktail starter. the prawns were warm and I think had been defrosted in a microwave. could easily give somebody food poisoning. Both main meals were terrible, we left all of it. will never ever eat there again

Really nice quaint little pub. Slightly dated but welcoming and has a pool table and darts boards. Decent food.

A few weeks ago I had no idea how I'd get home as my phone was nearly out of battery and there was at least a 20 minute wait for my bus! I was very lucky as it turned out there was a charger I could use at The Bridge! If the lovely lady that works behind the bar is anything to go by, this is a place I'll visit again! Thanks again, Rachel! :-)
