   Just got back from a lovely lunch and I don't think it will be our last visit. The menu is very broad - something for everyone. I had steak - medium rare and it was spot on. They happily swapped my chips for a dressed salad. Our party also had steak pie and asked for lots of gravy - the jugful was amazing. We also had the shicken (no chicken) for our vegetarian. The staff were very friendly and we were impressed that the cook came out to check on some items of our order and then came out again after we'd eaten to make sure everything was to our liking. Despite sitting in one of the smaller areas (thanks for letting me avoid steps at the moment), the bustle of the pub came through. A very enjoyable Sunday lunch - thank you!
