   Visited for breakfast while in Leeds and at £8.45 for a full English, rising to £9.45 if you include a couple of hearty chunks of toast, I think this is an excellent deal. However, if you add tea, as we did, then the cost jumps to £13.04. Yep, £13.04. (To be fair I didn’t check the drinks menu before ordering). How can a single cup of tea equate to over 25% of the total bill? The food was excellent and included everything you’d expect from a full English. The service was fine - transactional without being friendly. Based on the food alone it is worth a visit. However, you may want to bring a flask with you if you fancy a tea or alternatively, try somewhere else.

   As far as an authentic local pub with the right mix of types of food and spread of beer on top this place ticks all the damn boxes. Ordered the small plates and chewed away to my beer. It all hit the spot. Will recommend and about to order some takeaway burgers too

   Ordered Sunday lunch and when it came veg was cold and certainly not enough gravy, stuffing dry. No cutlery arrived at our table even after asking 3 times. I’d sent food back. We then received the same dinners microwaved, despite asking for them not to be microwaved and being told they were replated. The manager eventually came to see us after asking twice and receiving reheated lunches. We were given a free round of drinks and a refund for food which we appreciated as a gesture after speaking to the manager.

   Okay. Not much atmosphere but quite a few people in the pub Lots of TV screens if that is your thing Prices £12:40 for an GK IPA and a white wine (small) was a bit steep I thought More like London prices Staff were speaking to kitchen on their head set and each other while serving so little customer feedback Didn’t try the food so no rating given Hence just an okay rating. There’s plenty of competition with more atmosphere and keener prices

   I still have a dent in the back of me leg from the bench stool it's posted but the passing is thin. The pub is great though, beer was too and the atmosphere on a game night.

   Nice big pub , in good location to shops. Unfortunately wasn't enamoured with food firstly was told no salad, so ordered fish/ chips and mushy peas, no mushy peas. My friend ordered steak and ale pie, pie pastry was re heat, so very overdone, as for meat, counted 4 strips of beef. Apparently this is an award winning pie. Not in my eyes. Disappointed....

   Good pub with a modern look and a very wide variety of beers, ciders and other liqueurs. I visited at night and it was a little noisy by the other patrons (who looked to be in their 20's), but it gave very good vibes. They show live sports here, too.

   What a great pub in the centre of Leeds. Pleasant efficient staff, reasonable prices and good food. Good layout in spacious pub. Will go there again when I'm up there.
