   Went for Xmas lunch with a friend 12-12-25 and it was absolutely great! We both had the steak and ale pie which was delicious, not to mention the hand cooked chips which were superb. Service was first class and the atmosphere brilliant. Well trimmed for the festive season too. I would definitely recommend and will most certainly be going back. Would advise booking to avoid disappointment. Thank you !

   My friend and myself were on a day trip to Leeds yesterday from Newcastle, the weather was atrocious, nether of us were impressed with the Christmas Market, but had seen the menu outside the New Conservatory and decided we would lunch there. The meal was absolutely gorgeous, the extras Mac and Cheese best we had tasted, pigs in blankets also great. The service was brilliant, if I did go back to Leeds I would definitely go back. 10 out of 10 in all accounts

   Lovely roast dinner. They do run out so best to eat early to get the choice you want. We had a veggie roast, chicken roast and chicken burger. The food was delicious and the staff were really helpful. The restaurant and bar was lovely.

   A Hidden Gem in Leeds – Ideal for a Relaxed Lunch Me and my partner visited The New Conservatory on a moderately warm day during a casual trip around Leeds, and we were really pleased with what we found. We were specifically looking for somewhere with outdoor seating and enough space for our 5 month old in a pram this place ticked both boxes. We arrived just as it opened at 12, and there was plenty of available seating. The outdoor area was appealing and relaxed, with a decently priced lunchtime menu. There was also an outdoor bar, which wasn’t open when we visited, possibly because it was still early or a quieter time, but it looked like it would be a great addition on a busier afternoon. Inside, the venue has a real wow factor. I genuinely didn’t realise places like this existed in Leeds. Whether it’s been recently renovated or preserved from an older style, it’s been done (or maintained) exceptionally well. It has a warm, characterful atmosphere that would be great for indoor dining, too. As for the food I had a pizza, and it was spot on. Normally, I’d add a side of chips, but on this occasion, the pizza was more than enough. My partner went for a burger and had no complaints either. Everything was cooked well and arrived quickly. The only reason it’s not a full 5-star review is the lack of table service you have to go down and order at the bar, which took a little away from the overall experience and i dont believe it has access downstairs other than the stairs i may be wrong but i didnt quite look but from what i remeber it was only stairs. Still, that wouldn’t stop us from going back. It’s definitely somewhere we’d visit again and would recommend to others looking for a laid back spot with good food and a nice atmosphere.

   Memories made on your wedding are memories to cherish forever and let me tell you, the New Conservatory Team got it right. We have chosen the New Conservatory to celebrate our wedding at and we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and genuinely committed to making our day special. No question or request was too much trouble when planning the wedding day - they always replied promptly and went above and beyond in every way. The food was outstanding, and our guests were so well looked after throughout the entire event. We received so many compliments on the service and the quality of the menu. The venue itself was the perfect setting. Its stylish, art deco-inspired interiors fit seamlessly with our wedding theme and created such a beautiful atmosphere. We felt so well supported by the team, and we will always be grateful for the role they played in making our celebration unforgettable. Thank you to everyone at the New Conservatory—you made our day truly magical!

   Brilliant Sunday roast in the middle of Leeds. Heard about through word of mouth and was not disappointed. Booked online because the Sunday roast is popular and regularly books up and sells out. Prior to our visit we were emailed by the restaurant and asked to reserve our choice of meat (or vegetarian/vegan option) to make sure they would be available for our sitting. Lovely cozy atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff.

   Nice restaurant. Great setting, very cosy. We went on a Monday so was very quiet but also outside of uni season so guess it would busier when the students are around. Lovely food and a great deal. Portions are generous and food is fresh.

   An overwhelmingly positive experience! We were recommended here by The Ship who had stopped serving food - and what a good recommendation! The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the service prompt & friendly and it wasn't too crowded. The decor inside is beautiful and cozy, overall a lovely time. Would definitely recommend for some pub grub in the center of Leeds, I'll be going again!

   Great location. Awesome atmosphere. Tasty food. Service and staff are amazing! I would like to make a special mention to the lovely Holly, who genuinely did not need a pen or paper to take everyone's food/drink orders! WOW! Not to mention, she was very friendly, too, and clearly thrived under pressure as it was super duper busy with the Six Nations England v Wales game being on. Thank you, Holly!
