   I would avoid this place at all costs. It's a cash only venue, they will NOT take payment by card. (dodging the taxman) The landlady is rude and troublemakers frequent the pub from the nearby estate. My partner and I were started on for no reason by a local thug!

   Pop in here on Tuesdays sometimes while our Daughter is at Guides nearby. Friendly bar staff, few decent ales (Guinness and Worthingtons) along with the typical lagers and bottled drinks available. Usually very quiet on a Tuesday evening. Have seen it busier on match days since it's just up the hill from the stadium.

   Nice pub friendly staff and atmosphere. But it is NOT accessible to wheelchairs. There is a step up at the main entrance and NO accessible toilet. Don’t go if you’re disabled AND in a wheelchair!!

   Great pub! Friendly staff, friendly cat, comfortable seating, real fire & a good selection of beers. A real 'locals' place but really welcoming to everyone... What more could you want? If you're lucky and visit on a Wednesday evening, you may meet DJ Tony C, founder of the now famous "I love Wednesday" club, who plays classic tracks from the jukebox for your added entertainment. When he smiles he lights up the room, he's even more beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside.

   Not many in which was a shame as the brilliant Tribal Shoots band were playing. The pub itself is quite big with plenty of room to move around. We've been a few times before when this band have played and the atmosphere has always been good. Drinks are reasonably priced.
