Car had a rattle from the exhaust and an engine malfunction warning, I'd called the AA who found 3 fault codes, P244COO & P246B00 relating to the car not reaching the correct temp to do a DPF regen & U024800 relating to a communication error with the radiator blind system. looked for advice on social media and the overwhelming opinion was i needed a new vaporiser fitting to fix the first two codes (apparently its common for these to clog up & fail over time) and the wiring needed looking at to fix the 3rd (another common issue as the wires run along the bottom of the bumper & are prone to damage) Contacted Auto Workshop over the phone who seemed really knowledgeable, visited them and went over the codes, they acknowledged the common issues with the vaporiser, and suggested the radiator blind fault could be the main problem as it controlled the cars temperature. Satisfied they knew their stuff I booked in for a diagnostic investigation at £85. Their findings were that a temp sensor on the DPF was broken causing the engine malfunction warning and stopping the car from doing a regen, part of the sensor was inside the DPF which was causing the rattle and couldnt be removed without damaging it, needed a new DPF & sensor and was quoted over £1200. Booked in at a later date. Work completed they reassured me it was fixed, time to pay the bill had gone up to over £1400, their explanation was they also had to fit a new pressure sensor, they hadn't called to advise prior but I paid regardless. The rattle was gone and all seemed good for a couple of weeks until we took the car up the motorway, after 13 miles the engine malfunction warning came back. Phoned garage who were apologetic and asked for the car back. Dropped the car early on a Tuesday morning. Spoke later that day and they'd found the rad blind was broken, some of the slats that sit behind the bumper and control the airflow were sitting in the undertray of the engine. They were optimistic this could be put back together but wouldn't be sure until they'd removed the bumper to look, I'd be looking at over £100 for a new set, plus another £100 if the outer casing needed replacing, and a further £100+ if the electrics needed work. Wednesday I called, they'd fixed the slats back in place but found the motor operating them wasn't working so I'd need a new one, £150 but they couldn't get the part until the next day. Thursday fitted the new motor but hadn't had time to test it Friday it was working but they wasn't sure if it was working correctly so asked to keep it till Monday Monday still not finished as was waiting for new fixings as old ones had broken, and needed to do a static regen. Called them at 1600 and was told all done just needed a test drive. Called me at 1658 to say they'd not had time to test drive and could their mechanic take it home that night which would be the test drive to which I agreed. Tuesday, a week later it was fixed. Went to collect it & they went over what they'd done and reassured me it was all fixed, I asked about the state of the vaporiser and was assured it was working fine as the static regen had worked and it was now fault free. Bill came to over £500, was a lot more than expected but aswell as the new motor there was another new sensor & labour. Either way I paid and was glad to get the car back. Next day we went on the motorway only for the Engine malfunction light to come back!! They asked for the car back but decided to get a 2nd opinion elsewhere. Mechanic found the vaporiser blocked & needed replacing. Looked at the rad blind that they'd fixed? found the slats were not located correctly and no power to the motor from a broken wire, he also couldn't do a static regen until both these issues had been fixed. He sorted it for £157 and been fine since I'm not sure if this garage were just incompetent or scammers, they seemed to ignore common known issues, the work they claimed to have done doesn't seem to have been done, would never use again!

This is the first and last time with this garage honestly I can not believe what they did so brought my car for MOT ( private taxi hire) they failed my car because of the tint windows, they said my car is below the legal requirement is 14 and suppose to be 20 percent. I had to go to Solihull council and explain it to them. I got advised to take it to Solihull garage instead so they checked my car again there and it shows 24.4. I had to ring this place again and explain to them you guys tested my car wrong they said yh just bring it back Will amend it for you. I am so stressed about this place and I will never ever bring it back to them.

Fantastic facility, excellent service, very friendly and knowledgeable. Reasonably priced. After unsucessfully visited several other garages to rectify electrical faults with my car and they got to the bottom of the issues and didnt cost the earth. Top guys

Just don't go here. Took my car here as it had a problem with misfiring, and I wanted a service. Was told I needed new spark plugs, and a new coil pack, but if I upgraded to the top service, the spark plugs were included in the price. So I gave them the go ahead. Got a call back to say there was a problem with the brake fluid and advised to change it, I said fine. Was quoted around £200 mark for all of it. When I got there, they charged me £450! For four spark plugs, a coil pack, and a service! It was itemised also and the spark plugs were entered separately, so that was rubbish about them being included in a service. I was furious but of course had to pay. The next day I got a phone call saying someone had made a mistake on my bill, and hadn't charged me for all of the spark plugs so could I pay another £85!? I refused, said I paid the bill that was presented to me at the time which was much higher than what I was quoted in the first place! Then a few days after, my car suddenly developed a new problem. Going into idle mode and being unable to accelerate. They also told me that I must have taken the car elsewhere as all the error codes had been wiped. (I hadn't taken it anywhere) I thought this was convenient especially when my car developed a new fault afterwards. I have a friend who's a mechanic who lives quite far away but asked him to come to take a look at it, as I was suspicious. He confirmed the service hadn't been done, no oil changes etc, nothing had been done to the brake fluid either. He contacted the garage on my behalf, and the manager just got very angry and asked him to come to the garage to say it to his face. Says it all really. Now I'm part ex my car and telling them there is a fault as I just don't trust it anymore, especially as I've just had a baby. I've had the car to two garages since then that I trust, including the dealership, and neither of them can find a fault due to the codes being cleared. Stay away.

Would’ve put a star as 0 if I could, went to get my coil packs changed in March 2022 since then they kept adding on different problems for me to fix which ended up costing a fortune. Recently my coil packs went again and went to a Vauxhall garage instead and I was told they had given me a second hand coil pack instead of a brand new one! Paid £168 for the service to find out later on down the line that it was second hand. As well as always getting one problem fixed and coming back with another. Terrible garage wouldn’t recommend to anyone just want to take your money and give you second hand parts!
