   One of the Worst Insurance Body Shops If I could give zero stars, I would. Fix Auto Birmingham have messed me around for months with constant delays and excuses. When they finally looked at my car, they falsely claimed it had “low oil” — despite me having clear evidence proving otherwise. Rather than carrying out a proper assessment, they dismissed the real issues and produced a misleading report.The staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional, even implying customers are “stupid” for questioning what’s happening with their claim. They act like qualified mechanics, but in reality only deal with bodywork — yet they feel entitled to pass off inaccurate and misleading judgments on mechanical issues. When I went to collect my vehicle, staff were hesitant and even asked if I could wait a few more days, which I instantly refused. I later discovered my vehicle had been tampered with while under their care — which is completely unacceptable and deeply concerning. After a heated exchange with a staff member who refused to give his name, they then attempted to lie to my insurance company once I made it clear I’d be reporting them. Their behaviour is not only unacceptable but also potentially misleading and harmful. I will be reporting them to the FCA and Trading Standards. Save yourself the stress — avoid this company at all costs.

   Only good thing about this garage is the worker named ben who went above and beyond evetyrging else was appalling 62 days they had my car they ordered wrong parts receptionist didn't know what she was doing and gave wrong details now my boot button doesn't work properly but am not sending it bsck for another 62 days

   **AVOID!*** I'm both disabled and vulnerable and use a motability car. Imma let you know how my experience went with fix auto. 1) the 2 guys sent to collect my car were rude from the get go, brash, combative and just plain unpleasant to deal with. The thinner of the two literally, categorically with no subtlety accused me of lying. But his sarcastic accusations weren't the worst. THEY EXPECTED MONEY! - spending a good 4 minutes asking ME how they would get it to the garage when the petrol had been siphoned. It took 7 "so what do I do's" and one indignant "why are u asking me, you're the professionals" before they said they'd get a truck. ... THEN... Despite new keys being on the work order, they called to question why I needed them. At this point direct line contacted them to confirm the order. ... However... They NEVER COMPLETED THE WORK ORDER. dropping the car back with the leftover key, no petrol and NOT RUNNING.

   Couldn't score this place down enough. The 1* is only earned by the courtesy car guys being friendly and the car being a decent car. The AA have just awarded me £350 compensation + 2 months free membership as an apology for both The AA, Fix Auto's central team & I being unable to reach this garage at least 30 times combined over 17 days without a courtesy car. 31 days to take a car in for a new wing mirror + some scratched paint to be redone. Not exaggerating when I say they didn't answer the phone once in this period. When I took the car in, they weren't expecting it (despite The AA arranging it) and apologised that they ignored the call from the towing truck driver as "we're just really understaffed and busy". Yet they still accepted the job. I literally watched them ignore phone calls on that day. I won't breach assumed confidentiality with The AA for the rest of their complaint response to me, but it would appear this might not be an isolated incident. If offered by The AA to come to this garage, I urgently recommend you push back even if it's further away from your home.

   Received my car back after having it for more than 2 months.poor communication. Dont answer phone calls. delayed by days on the return date and didnt arrive at the correct time. Non genuine parts used. Car came back with damage. Marker pen used to cover where the tinted windows have been ripped. Damaged parts refitted. Wrong colour spec parts fitted. Cowboys are an understatement. Avoid if able. 0 stars not an option otherwise would have been given.

   Had my car sent to be repaired after a minor front end collision. Took them around 6/7 weeks to repair it then when i got it back the state of the work was shocking. Bits under the lacquer, bits under the paint, over spray o my doors, runs in the paint, chips in parts that look like they had stood it on concrete. Then when complained the guy looked at me as if it was all my fault. 500 miles head gasket went because of their shoddy repair as they fitted new radiator. Car went to VW and we have been informed it needs a new engine now. The car has 2000 miles on it. They are shady corner cutters that clearly do not have the time or the skilled staff to cope with work in volume. Id very much stay clear of this company.

   Do not trust this company at any cost. They lie about every single part of repair they should not be allowed to trade .and mobility should be getting rid of them there service manager is a total liar and so is this the boss .there workmanship is fit for a scrap yard there mechanical skills are none .but far worse there customer contact and abuse is something that must me stopped .promises of dates are false please I beg you avoid avoid avoid
