Went in here looking for Seth Armstrong and he wasn’t there! Apparently he pegged it years ago and the woolpack he drank in is in esholt! There was a little old woman sat by the entrance though who looked like ET and very handily she had a mobile phone so we didn’t have to spend 2 hours making a film about it.
Not a bad pub my first time here can buy cans of lager or cider and ale on the pump the only downside is it's cash only
Really quiet for a Friday night , the pub is very dated , doesn't take card payments. The drinks we had were reasonable priced. Staff friendly.

Rip off! Charging me same price for soda water as they charge for a can of coke! Bar maid tried to justify it! Basically i pay £3.50 at Northern and £3.70 at Kings head for double vodka, lime and soda water. Woolpack want £4.70 for it! I wont be going again as im not happy to be ripped off!
Great Irish run establishment. If you're in that area get in for a pint. If you're not in the area then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR !! Karioke nights are always entertaining. You'll always be made to feel welcome anytime.
