Came in about a month ago with my mum, we had some soft drinks and a meal each, everything was spot on. Great addition to have in Sowerby Bridge.
A lovely warm and welcoming bar. We had a pizza and seasoned chips - really great and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Called in on a Friday lunchtime (14/07/25), one week after the re-opening. A lovely Building, lots of character, with masses of outdoor space for the summer. Great, friendly staff, nice choice of beers et al. Now serving food and the menu is great - don’t be fooled by the “small plates” as they are HUGE for the money. We ordered far too much and took half home. Great value for money. Overall a welcome addition to Sowerby Bridge.
Been in today with my boyfriend, had some amazing food. The staff (a lady who I believe was the general manager) were so helpful and friendly. I love what they’ve done with the pub, deffo will be back
Probably underrated it's top of town but always clean beers always good and price not stupid staff helpful and knowledgeable.
Nice little pub with a surprisingly wide selection of gins and tonics to pair. Got a bit rowdy so maybe give it a miss if looking for a quiet one over the weekend.
The outside seating area is amazing. We were fortunate to get good weather and it felt like I was abroad on my holidays! Good selection of alcoholic beverages and friendly staff. I would recommend.
Pint was nice and cold. Beer garden was modern and spacious. For 2 pints of Strongbow it was £7.60 so not ridiculous but about what you'd expect. Music was at a pleasurable level. Only complaints would be that the table service due to covid took 15 minutes to actually get a drink, more staff would be wise. Plus the steps going up to the toilets. The steps and all of upstairs stunk of the bathroom
