   My local. Great pub. As an ale and craft beer drinker, options are limited, but this is a village pub catering for everyone, so can't focus on one type of clientèle, so provides more options across all tastes, rather than just a more niche group. People are friendly as are the staff and you can see in the age range how this pub services its' community.

   Great village pub.....I used to live in the area years ago. It was good to be back and see that they have overhauled the place in a brilliant way. It is still the best venue to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon

   Can't rate food as we didn't eat here. Atmosphere was vibrant and locals are lovely. Staff are also a credit to this lovely pub. Very clean and modern with a cosy oldy world feel.

   I used to go to this pub during my clubbing days. I liked it then but luv it now. Its had a recent refit with the bar and seating more open than before. Didn't drink the beer as I was working. The new manager Mel has done a good job organising the pub, bringing in local bands and a top chef. Food is good, staff are well friendly. Family friendly during the day. The pub backs onto Golcar cricket pitch with a decent sized patio and picnic tables edging the pitch. Just watch out for square leg sixes on Sunday.

   Was in Friday and Saturday, and no food available on both evenings. This is a let down, to say they have only just started serving food. The neck oil was good though.

   Visted this pub as i was visiting the area and the atmosphere is amazing. everyone is so friendly and lovley and they had screens up with sport and a music box which everyone was putting their jams on. definitely a family fun pub as all the kids were running around playing football in the back. highly recommend... will definitely be going back when im back in the area 10/10

   A traditional local pub with a modern outlook. Great for families during the day, quizzes on Wednesday and other events throughout the week. Great selection of food on offer freshly cooked, plenty of beer choices to suit all tastes, wine and alcohol free options are available
