   I came looking for a new cosy wine bar to host corporate events. There is a lovely seating area outside, which was fairly busy, but many spaces inside which was warm and cosy. I ordered a glass of red wine which sadly was very cold. Whilst warming up from the bitter wind outside, a customer came from the bar wearing a thick coat and heavy scarf, claiming she was very hot and propped the door open. The wind whistled through and cooled my wine down again. We closed the door, only for the bar staff to open it again saying they had a customer who was too hot. She clearly didn’t want to take her coat off or go outside. I left my cold and fairly bland merlot and left the freezing cold inside, and went somewhere else, where we were welcomed with a warm greeting, and a room temperature merlot. It’s such a shame as we intended to bring our other managers here on a regular basis.

   Really good coffee just as I like it, comes with a piece of chocolate. Great for people watching. Outside seating with heaters if needed. Staff are friendly.

   This was a brilliant bar for drinking, with a classic wooden style! The red lighting and beverage displays across the wall add another feel, staff were friendly and counter is well-presented. I had a refreshing pint of Rekorderlig Cider at comfortable leather seating, which was clean too!

   Just called here today wirh our two large dogs. They were allowed inside and the staff made a real fuss of them while being friendly and helpful when serving us. What a fabulous bar and we will call again.

   A lovely bar and coffee house serving beer, wine, coffee and muffins/scones. Table service today was very slow but the quality of coffee was good once it arrived. Nice polite staff, comfortable relaxed lighting.

   Great bar on the inside edge of Piece Hall, Halifax. Lovely friendly staff. Seats inside and outside the bar. Various wines, beers & spirit's plus hot and cold drinks including coffee of the week which this week is iced salted caramel latte.

   Nice place for drinks/coffee, great views of the the piece hall. Beer selection is reasonable but not brilliant. No cask ales. Seating outside undercover of large heated parasols. Quite expensive but worth a visit.
