   I had the dreaded Boxster (987 Gen 2) hood issue - hood not seating properly (the hood seating itself outside the exterior plastic guard above the windows. It should tuck in behind the guard). Took about an hour to fix (I took a short walk to a cafe for coffee). Not only was the problem sorted, the hood was given a bit of a general service. Everything was explained upon my return and the price charged very (very) reasonable. Can't recommend The Hood Guys highly enough.

   My saab 9-3 was displaying "check softtop". I suspect the sagging roof lining may be fouling the folding operation. Took it to Gary last week. Cured sagging lining, carried out a service, lubrication, hydraulic fluid top-up. Total £99. Fabulous service and a real nice guy to deal with. When I renew the top in the next year or so he will be the man. Thanks Gary

   100% recommended!!! Had the roof stuck down on my e93 and was really struggling on what the problem was. after a few BMW specialists recommended them i called the hood guys up and explained the situation. Even though they were fully booked for 2 months they squeezed me in and managed to get the roof back up so i can use it in typical British weather. Price was allot lower then I expected and i will be back to get the job finished. Thanks for all your help.

   EOS folding hardtop got itself into an impossible position during seal cleaning and became inoperative in a semi open state. Over a holiday weekend with rain on the horizon too! Recommended these guys by usual service garage and they were BRILLIANT. Contacted them in the morning, got car transported to them by early afternoon and collected it same evening (waited late for me). Modest charge too. Knowledgeable and friendly and got me out of trouble when franchised dealer fairly disinterested and many horror stories on line. Less than 10 miles from me but I'd happily travel much further for service of this standard. Thanks Gary!

   I used The Hood Guys for my Audi A3 convertible because the rear back glass had worn away from the canvas roof and needed fixing back together to stop the rain pouring though the gaps. From start to finish Gary was polite and professional, he even cleaned out all the rain water that had gone through the back of my car. Gave my car to him on Tuesday morning and collected it the next day afternoon. I was so impressed on how quickly he had fixed the canvas and glass, that the finish actually looks brand new. I would recommend Gary and I am using The Hood Guys again in afew months time to fix my hood interiors.

   Fantastic job done on my Porsche Boxster 987, which is now 16 years old. The problem I had was that the roof didn’t close properly. Honest advise as to what needed doing in the first place and what could be left undone/worked fine. In the end, he just replaced two straps and the roof now works like it’s all brand new! He also gave me further (free!) advise on what I can do myself to freshen up the look of the roof AND he lubricated some parts in the door lock, which stopped the window from dropping intermittently - again, at no charge! All in all great service at very very fair price.

   I had an appointment to replace rear windscreen made over a month ago. I had left a message to say I was coming up and needed the car completed in a day (as quoted). Also requested a call back if there was any problems. Called the day before to make sure all OK. It turns out they hadn't listened/actioned their voicemail. As they then couldn't complete the car in a day. As needed. I was willing to make a nearly 3 hour round trip to use this service. However, do to there lack of professionalism and curt telephone manor, I have decided not to use them. I would do a little more searching in the web if I would you. Unless you live around the corner from them.
