   We came in on Christmas eve have been very satisfied before this visit staff very poor was told we arrived late but our booking was for 3-30pm and got there at 3-10 went straight to our table and waited for 25mins before waitress came to take our order and then told we had to leave because our table was booked out won't be going again customer service shocking

   Food was nice but service was terrible. The waitress got our food order wrong and then the drinks we ordered never arrived so we just paid and left early. When we mentioned that the drinks hadn't arrived so we wanted the bill to leave, the waitress didn't even apologise. The same when I pointed out the food order was wrong. An apology costs nothing but makes the world of difference to the customer service experience. Not sure the waitresses name but she was a brunette with an ill fitting (oversized) bra.

   A friend recommended so came last sat had lamb shank its was lovely faultless. We all enjoyed our meals. Went back today with a friend as enjoyed it so much! Had steak pie it was beautiful. Great portion sizes. Prices are good for the quality & portion sizes! Deffinately be a regular customer. Best pub food i have ever had

   Went to the Robin Hood yesterday for the first time after a walk around Ulley Reservoir. Very warm greeting from the girls at the Bar. I will give them a mention, they both worked extremely hard, this clearly stood out. From managing the phone, that rang constantly for bookings ,serving food, serving drinks at the bar. They both had excellent work ethics, worked well together to keep the bar etc running smoothly, which did not affect customer service. I thought I'd give them a mention. They deserved a compliment for the service they provided. As for the Food, the best I have tasted in a pub. Excellent choice on the menu. The Bar Staff and Chef make the experience worth every penny, hope they pay you well. The Robin Hood at Aston comes highly recommended, will definitely come again.

   Lovely menu, polite staff. Food is on expensive side but cannot fault it. They will even box it up for you to take home if you can't get through it all.

   Had lunch here the week before Xmas[ non Xmas lunch] with 2 friends.Absolutely top class.The food was the best I've had for a long time [fish pie] plenty of it and well served.The waitress was so helpful and cheerful.Will definitely go again.If you haven't been you should try it and excellent value for money.
