   Hired the function room, for our wedding evening reception, had a lovely evening, staff were lovely and helpful. The DJ Tony made the evening with a selection of music to dance to. We stayed over night in one of the rooms, the room were clean and well equipped with tea and Coffee and a comfy bed. Breakfast was served but extra cost but was very nice and a good selection. We will book again if needed Thank you to all the staff thay made our evening special.

   Due to traffic arrived after check in time, Nicola sent a txt advice that if I arrived after 8pm I'll need to call and they will proceed the check in, followed by phone call saying that I won't be accommodated as it's stated in T&C, all check ins by 8pm Absolutely disgusting practice that they don't understand delays which can't be avoided, booking.com tried to call and email, all ignored, left me without accommodation on Sunday night!!!! This is the worse experience I have ever had, I've been traveling due to work all over the UK for several years and never had any issues anywhere to be check in whenever time I arrived

   Good central location, friendly folk, but turned up on a Friday, walking from the local campsite...they don't do food on Friday tea time.... Maybe my mistake, but Google makes it look like they do

   My room was comfortable and clean. It had plenty of tea, coffee, etc. Had a smart tv and a decent shower. The ladies in the bar were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast the next morning was tasty and good value at £7.95 for a small, including a hot drink. A couple of minor negatives are. The hireable venue opposite may keep people awake for a while. It depends on how much of a light sleeper you are. Also, the room was really bright early in the morning.

   This was a pleasant venue for the funeral gathering, food well laid out and plentiful. Tables were neatly arranged, all in all provided a good atmosphere for the occasion.

   Abuse at a family party because I got my own diet lemonade from Morrisons. They didn't have any and we ordered double vodka and lime, double Baileys and a pint each round but they kicked off because of the lemonade. I'm diabetic and didn't want full sugar lemonade all night. Won't be going there again.

   Just had Sunday lunch. All fresh veg. Meat was lovely. Personal preference I do like mash with Sunday dinner. Decent price too.
