Lovely food as always. The carvery is always good value in the week. The staff are friendly and the facilities are clean. Although my daughter's food came and we had been given chips instead of sweetcorn, which wasn't a big thing so didn't mention it. But probably just worth noting. I'm sure they would have rectified this if I had brought it to their attention though.

This place is alright, always has been over the years but the food is constantly bang on average. Standout would be the carvery, available most days and also until late too.

So first of all I want to say how amazing the staff has been towards me and my family. They are always welcoming and generous, they take time to talk with you, we’ve had the pleasure to get to know them. There was a time when we were struggling for money, as I normally get a monthly pass. The staff went out of their way and put together the money to buy me and my daughter a pass for the next month. I was and still am incredibly touched by their generosity as they didn’t need to do that for us, they went out of their way and we are incredibly grateful.

The two ladies Laura and Kat in the play area were amazing today! Full of smiles really helpful. My daughter who can struggle in social settings kept telling me how wonderful the ladies were. Thank you for making our experience today wonderful. Kids meals were amazing.

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the only fact that the meat slices are not to the standard of size not thickness. And the roast potatoes was not very nice at all. But all round the meat was cooked well an the veg was lovely. Gravy gorgeous/onion. I know from working in a carvery pub that the slices of meat should be to a certain weight but what was given was not a slice. Maybe a chef that's had more experience would know this.. keep up the good work and the friendly service. Well enjoyed after a days fishing

Long wait for meal after ordering and once meal came it had to be sent back as some items well over cooked. It was sorted but staff not very help and very defective also Guinness very overpriced. I would recommend you avoid this place till staff have more training and a price reviewed. Also toilets not clean.

We waited 15/20 minutes before food arrived. Food was hot and tasty. The restaurant was pretty full (Sunday lunch time) so staff coped well. The carvery was very busy with a constant queue. There is an outdoor and indoor (Wacky warehouse) play area for children, the indoor had a 30 min wait for a table. Can't grumble at anything. Would definitely go again.

Food here is disgusting. The sprouts are rick solid. The cauliflower cheese is dry. Mash potatoes are dry. The new potatoes are sat in oil so mega greasy as are the pigs in blankets. I’ll never get another roast from there again. Genuinely the worst I’ve eaten. Given it a 2 star because the meat wasn’t bad but everything else was terrible
