   I had cataracts removed from each eye over the past few weeks. I cannot speak too highly for the quality of care . Every member of staff involved from arrival through to the surgical team and after care is supportive,courteous and reassuring. I am a regular visitor to the Spire for the control of my glaucoma and I value greatly the care which I have received over a number of years. I know how fortunate we are to have access to this hospital and expertise.

   All the staff are so kind, helpful & attentive. They went above & beyond for me during my 24 hours there, I was always comfortable at ease. The sisters and nurses on the ward can't do enough for you. My consultant Mr Kokan was amazing, he really knows what he is talking about & is very confident with what he is doing, this really put me at ease & he has done an absolutely fantastic job. The sister who looked after me until discharge Leanne was brilliant & really warm & welcoming. The food is so good, I had 3 meals there & they were all spot on. Would not hesitate to use the Spire again in the future. Thank you so much!

   I’m just home from surgery at Spire Regency, Macclesfield. I had a breast augmentation performed by Mr J Kokan. From consultation to surgery and discharge everything was perfect. Mr Kokan is kind, gentle, professional and clearly a master of his craft. He was very reassuring on the day and I had no doubts whatsoever. The staff are an absolute credit to Spire! Thank you to Sharon for arranging a specific date for my surgery, the welcoming ward clerks, and the nurses for looking after me so well (Karen, Helen, Steph & special thanks to Nikki for helping me get through a particularly uncomfortable evening). The food was delicious (shout out to the amazing kitchen team) and the ward hostesses were extremely attentive. The theatre team were incredibly kind and reassuring prior to my anaesthetic and during recovery! My room was incredibly comfortable with all necessary amenities. I would have no hesitation in recommending/returning to Spire Regency. Thank you!

   First class experience for my shoulder injection. Reception staff were warm and welcoming. Both Nic and Nina in the Admin team were unbelievably helpful in arranging everything! Dr Gupta assisted by Beverley doing the procedure were exceptional, they chatting through everything as it happened, took the time to explain everything and very reassuring. Everyone took interest in my wellbeing, care, outside life and treated me like their friend!

   Absolutely appalled at the service I have just received here, I booked in to have hernias repaired today, I am a self employed builder so have had to arrange time off work for my recovery with my next job starting in 4 weeks time. I was asked to arrive at 7am as I was supposed to be in and out in the day. Mr Roy (the surgeon) came for a quick chat and to get me to sign something and told me I was first on the list, this was at about 7.30, approaching 10am and I still hadn’t been seen or spoken to since Mr Roy, until eventually somebody else came into my room to inform me that the anaesthetist hadn’t turned up and they couldn’t get another one. Apparently Mr Roy won’t be back now until 10th or 13th March, when I then asked to speak to Mr Roy I was advised he had already left the building, he didn’t even have the decency to come and tell me he wasn’t able to do it or advise me of where to go from here. I am now out of work, still have the hernias and am going to have to let my clients down in the near future when I have to rearrange my surgery. To say I’m annoyed would be an understatement.

   Had a total knee replacement 18months ago, staff excellent shame my Operation didn’t go as well. Discharged very direct and no concerns for patient. Left limping, stiff and in pain 6 months ago. Still painful, stiff and limping. Trying to resolve elsewhere. Sorry can’t and wouldn’t recommend.

   Absolutely impossible to book a private appointment. Been on hold 5 times, people keep transferring my call and at the end I get cut off. I was asked to email the private referral to the Manchester email address which I did, no reply. Very disappointing call centre/reservations processes, totally impossible to book an appointment. Where are the good old days when we could just talk to a real competent person sitting at reception able to answer simple questions.

   My partner was diagnosed with breast cancer back in April promised of surgery we’re made for 2nd January 2023 it was cancelled, rescheduled for 3rd, 4th, 5th and then the 7th January all cancelled promises we’re made to contact her with updates received nothing she’s had to chase them everyday to now we’re at the point of changing hospitals.. wouldn’t recommend these at all!!
