Place itself is nothing special, if not a bit of a dive. Very rude and stroppy bloke behind the bar. Won't be going back
From the outside, it looks like a half decent pub. But on entry OMG, what a different story. Not clean, dogs running about, dont mind dogs but should be on a lead. Staff needed to listen to the drink request, as wrong drinks served at the bar, and took 3 attempts to get it correct and then overcharged. Hubby went to the Gents toilet once we sat at a table & they have cameras pointing at the urinals, which I'm sure is illegal and an invasion of privacy. Then he came back, and his beer didn't taste right. We had a very short stay and would not advise anyone to drink there
Absolutely shocking customer service, owner got mardy with us as we took 5 seconds to decide what we wanted to drink, then when asked what the problem was, got told to leave. Probably get treat better in prison. Hope he sees this and gets his act together.
My friend was here visiting me. Imagine the horror of us entering the pub and my friend being ejected for NO GOOD REASON! He best down to stroke a dog and was ejected for it. Id rather die od thirst than ever return to this tip
Staff and customers friendly. Great bike night on a Tuesday. Well worth a drop in.
Nice quiet pub. Drinks are nice and well priced, friendly people within the pub. Best table for pool in Chesterfield- the one with the best prices for drinks as well, much cheaper than lennons. Highly recommend if you enjoy a nice chilled out atmosphere. I have quickly become a new regular here.
Excellent service and a great atmosphere especially after the last few months great to be able to get served at the bar very happy to be back
