With a wide range of drinks and large seating area. Great for night out or lunch. If you have a large group it is possible to reserve a table. Wide menu selection and the portions are generous. Friendly staff but getting serviced when it is busy can take some time due to how busy it can get.

An extremely busy bar that seems to cater for bottomless brunch deals. There were lots of staff on site and getting served at the bar was easy despite it being so busy. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and all the tables were filled with hen groups etc having a great time.

Went for a bottomless brunch with my partner for his birthday, the staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly, helpful and attentive, really nothing was too much, the brunch was amazing value and the fact live sport was on, was a bonus, the toilets were clean and the choice of drinks were varied and plentiful! Definitely recommend.

Such a good vibe here! Anna was so lovely and poured the best pint. Genuinely think I gave her my life story but she was so chatty. One of the nicest bar staff I’ve ever met

Had an amazing visit! The cocktails were amazing. Our bartender Anna served everything with a smile. Honestly the best experience and bartender I’ve had for a long time!

Nice place. Free wifi. Decent tap selection. No casks though

Great pub for lunch. Came with a friend while attending a University event, but all the local food places were packed. The Cavendish was open and quiet, just what we needed. Food was good - we shared a delicious sub and chips (about £8), having realized it was too much for either of us (so, really generous portion size)! The lattes were perfect, nice and hot, and cost was reasonable - I think they were £2 each? If we'd been in a mood for filter coffee, I think refills were free. I loved the tables - perfect for a Marvel/DC fan. People working there were friendly and helpful. I'm sure it gets packed of an evening, but it's an underappreciated gem for lunch!
