Kate is absolutely brilliant. If I could give 6 stars I would. The food was great and she looked after us very well. Best service in Sheffield all thanks to Kate.
Brilliant dog friendly pub. Perfect resting spot following a walk in the nearby woodland. Food and drinks prices are very reasonable and atmosphere is great. Highly recommended

An unusual pub built on to the face of the hill Spread out over multiple levels with outdoor seating areas at the top, middle and bottom of the hill... Large free carpark at the top. Jenny was the perfect host and very popular worth the locals, the pub is bright and welcoming and very clean throughout... A real credit to her and her staff. A beautiful and unique venue, well worth a visit. Inside feels very cosy

Have visited three times now, each and every time has been great, all three visits have been on a weekday afternoon. Two of the three visits I was pretty much the only in, the other visit there seemed to be a wake there but my food still came out quickly and I was looked after well. Staff are friendly and polite. Food is amazing, it is proper pub food, not microwaved and sat under a heat lamp like at a certain pub chain. This pub is part of a chain (Mighty Local) but you can barely tell at all. Location is fantastic too, I'd fully recommend a nice walk in the surrounding area before (earn a meal!) or after (burn a meal!) visiting. 5/5 faultless place and I will continue to come here without doubt!
Everything was as it should should have been for our mum on 20.10.22. The staff were very attentive and happy. Thank you so much for everything. PS Where do you get your pork pies!
The Inn offers a range of tasty meals. I sat at a table in the garden area. There are parasols at each table, which was useful because the sun was bright.
