   I've been coming to Clarks for years , primarily for school shoes for my 3 kids. The shoes have always fitted well and the service has always been outstanding. All the staff recently and in the past (shop floor and management) are helpful, polite and knowledgeable about how to fit shoes well - even on the most wriggling and awkward toddler! We are lucky to have such a super shop in our local area with no need to travel out to Kingston or similar for such an essential item.

   Went to Clarks Walton for a school shoe fitting, the member of staff that served me was patient, helpful, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we left with just what we needed. One of the easiest and stress free children's shoe fittings we have had. Highly recommend this store.

   I've been going to this Clarks for years to measure and get my my son's school shoes. Assistants have always been responsive, alert and really helpful but yesterday it was a disaster . I had Louise: the most unresponsive, unprofessional, unhelpful assistant. I appreciate they need to hire more people during this time to deal with the increased volume of people coming but management needs to provide better training and fire them if they clearly don't want to be there and are not doing their job. Normally the assistants recommend some of the shoes and when they check them they're actually looking at your child's walk to see if the fit is right . Louise was so bad at one point. I asked her what do you think? And she said I wasn't looking. What I would recommend if you find yourself in that situation is either you walk out and go to Clark's Woking or Kingston or you refuse to continue being served by someone like Louise and wait until another assistant is available . I'm saying this because that's what I should have done!

   Outstanding service from Kelly and team. We bought a pair of school shoes for my son 2 months ago; one of the heels wore very quickly. Kelly exchanged for a new pair straight away - the customer service was just brilliant. They remeasured my son's feet to double check sizes again and exchanged for a brand new pair of shoes. Very grateful. Thank you Kelly amd team for your help today.

   Very helpful staff and cheerful staff. I asked a sales advisor whether she could recommend the shoe stretcher and she said yes she actually used it and it worked. Very helpful and honest.

   A really genuine and friendly staff member helped me out when I was trying to buy insoles. He was very bubbly and easy for customers to talk to because he was laughing and joking. But whilst joking, he was very knowledgable and gave me good advice. I didn't get his name but hopefully the store can identify who I am referring to.

   If it was possible rate it 0 I would. I walked into the store unmasked due to having asthma and finding it very difficult to breathe to have the lady whom worked there challenge me on this I explained I didn't wear one due to being exempt. Rather than accept this she muttered under her breath "well it is the law." After this incident entailed I witnessed a lady walk into the store no mask on yet she was holding and walk right past the shop assistant whom had just pretty much been very passive aggressive with me and said absolutely nothing. It was discrimination at its finest. Absolutely disgusted and once I mentioned to the shop assistant this lady wasn't wearing as mask she completely dismissed it as it's my job to ask, however if they are a more mature, and affluent the law doesn't count. I have been to this shop for countless of years since having my children and I would expect that a Clarke's store member wouldn't challenge a customer Infront of their children. Absolutely disgusted and will not be back.

   Excellent shopping experience and service today from Leah (assistant number 50). Leah was very patient, kind and professional with my Son measuring his feet and fitting his new school shoes and trainers today. Store overseen by Leanne (Trainer /Manager) and even though there was an impromptu fire evaction, She dealt with everything in a calm, polite and professional manor. Good selection of shoes and trainers to choose from. Would highly recommended this store.
