   Just had a 10 point Car health check at Halfords in Cortonwood, Brampton, Barnsley. Despite them being unexpectedly short staffed, Shaun who carried out the check was friendly, helpful, courteous and efficient. He took time to give me advice. This is the 3rd time that I have used this service and I have had 3 different technicians who have all been really great and a credit to Halfords. Would definitely recommend and continue to use myself.

   I went for a steering lock for my car. The lovely man who served me was exceptional. He came out to my car with 2 different types to try on. I settled on one of them. He made sure I was able to lock it and unlock by myself which after a few failed attempts I was able to do. He was very helpful, very professional and all with a smile. Great service given. Thank you.

   Had to replace a rear brake light and had it fitted for me. The guy who flitted it was really nice, polite and helpful and it only took 15 minutes for it to be done. Would definitely recommend this branch of Halfords.

   Some of the items on the shelf were visibly out of stock. The cashier was more interested in having a chat with her colleague then actually serving me, and had a conversation with someone else thorough out my transaction and was distracted. I wonder how they would react if I was having a full blown conversation on my phone while they were serving me? Good layout of the store, and there seems to be good colleague availability.
