   Attended the casino theme Christmas party with my team. The entertainment- both the casino tables, dj and singers were fab, would maybe benefit more with a couple extra tables so less crowded but the majority of the night the seats were empty and the dance floor full. Food was lovely, staff were great at accommodating dietary needs, Stacey and the other young lady behind the bar were great! Would absolutely book again!

   Gorgeous hotel at such good value. My parents and I stayed in a triple room on a trip to Manchester for a 90th. We were very pleasantly surprised by the light breakfast included in the cost for free, and a very delicious full english for only 9 quid p/p with coffee, tea and juice included in both. Beautiful views of the moors and the staff were the highlight - every single one so warm and willing.

   Had a lovely stay here, in one of the Shepherds Huts. Fantastic modern, clean well facilitated accommodation. All the staff from arrival, breakfast and departure were extremely pleasant and helpful. 10/10 Strongly recommended.

   Rooms were clean and comfy, we were here for a wedding, the service and room it was held in were nice however the reception service was appalling no beer on draft and no choice of bottled beer the first meal which was help yourself table by table by the time our table was allowed to go there was no Chips, no Pulled pork choice was burger or chicken nuggets great for vegetarian! The women Stacy I think she was called was rude and unhelpful actually said she could scrape the leftover gravy from the pulled pork onto a dry barm !!!! Surely they should of catered for enough guests, the room was freezing cold with air con switched on everyone was cold spoiled what should of otherwise was a perfect night

   This place is wonderful. Food is affordable and delicious. Some cute cats just running about being stroked and lots of good beer. No draught but does that really matter when you eating THE BEST PEPPERCORN SAUCE I'VE EVER HAD

   We had a lovely stay. Staff were very welcoming, and happy to help. It was the staff Christmas do on the night we stayed - but they were still ‘up and at ‘em’ in the morning to cook an excellent breakfast. Room was warm & comfortable, with a nice new bathroom. Lovely views & walks from the location too.

   Lisa and her team provided an outstanding afternoon tea experience. Attention to detail, variety, quality and made to feel very welcome. Catered to special dietary requirements and went out of her way to make it a great birthday treat for my mum. Thanks again!

   Venue was really nice and the grounds were also very scenic. They have many animals on site including a peacock which looks beautiful! Came here for a wedding, staff were all nice and friendly. Food tasted decent too - nothing spectacular but it also wasn't horrible either, 7/10 for food. Drink prices weren't that bad, although charging me £11 for a double Kraken and Coke is a bit of a rip off in my opinion. For a 3* hotel the room was really nice and the bed was nice and comfy. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody. I had a really good time here, thanks to all the staff!

   Arrived for a family wedding . The staff are lovely and made everyone very welcome. Well done ladies! The rooms are very clean and some have fantastic views-we had a double room (number 11). The wedding room was so pretty and the whole thing was just lovely. Our food was absolutely delicious and I have to say that the garlic mushrooms on sour dough toast (starter) was fabulous! For breakfast we opted for the cooked option which was really nice and there was a veggie option too. The location is wonderful for people wanting dramatic outdoor photos with lovely scenery in the background. It was just lovely .
