   Not fit for purpose in arrival people arguing and fighting in one of the rooms and the property stunk of cannabis. Didn't feel a safe place to stay at all so left and made alternative arrangements. Complaint made to owner who refused a refund

   Basic but very clean. We booked a room with an ensuite shower and toilet. Would have scored higher, but we incurred a parking ticket within 30 mins of arrival. If you park directly outside the property you are inside the residents parking zone. The signs are some distance away so I missed them. Very annoying and not mentioned on the booking website, or in the property itself. Otherwise, it did the job, providing a ground floor space that was in the right location for us to easily visit family and friends.

   No problems booking or on arrival. Would have been good value for money if they returned my deposit. Despite requesting it several times I am yet to receive it. Very disappointing......

   Most rooms are NOT ensuite. I booked and paid extra for ensuite when I realised, but on arrival was told I didn't have an ensuite, but I could have this for the 2nd night. Breakfast was in packets in the room - not served. My bags were moved into the 2nd room in my absence and the 2nd room only had half the breakfast of the previous one and no coffee at all. This room also had a wet patch on the floor by the bed and a lamp that didn't work. There also appeared to be a long term guest who liked wandering about half clothed to the shared bathroom, which for a lone woman isn't ideal... Really not the best stay but it was the ideal location for a course I was attending.

   Everything was fine. Arrived early due to making arrangements to travel during another annoying train strike. Contacted the property was given instructions to allow immediate access. Facilities were good, bed very comfortable. Located near to Supermarkets Aldi, Asda Sainsbury. Anything I needed was therefore at hand. Plenty if Pubs and Restaurants near by. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone.

   When I arrived I had to make a phonecall in order to check in. Initially there was some confusion as the owner thought she'd rang me earlier on to ask me to go to their other hotel as they were overbooked. I however had received no such call and even if I had, it wouldn't have been convenient at all for me to have been moved. The confusion was however resolved and I was given clear detailed step by step instructions about how to gain access. I was pleasantly surprised by the room and shared bathroom; it was clean and spacious. The bed was was also super comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Now the breakfast; it was odd but I knew what to expect based on other reviews (paninis, jam, variety box of cereal, yoghurt, capri sun) but I was more than happy to embrace it. I was however disappointed to discover that the paninis seemed stale, and then I discovered that they were best before 2 days earlier. It was a let down at the end of a otherwise lovely 'overnight stay'.

   Very clean ,warm and comfortable accommodation, I can not think of going anywhere else while working in Stockport. Thank you Overnight Stays for your hospitality will certainly come back and I highly recommend you.

   Nice little room and very economical. Boiler in room is noisy, but pleasant outlook to the garden. Charming outlook to garden at the rear and access to the shops, pubs and hospitals.
