Just pulled up here for our reservation for Oasis. This place is being torn down. Total scam. Found a room at the holiday inn closer to gig.

Arrived cold and hungry to two women brawling at the entrance as I got out of the taxi. On a Monday evening at 20:00! A dozen drunks screeching, swearing and arguing in the bar (mostly women). I don’t think food was available but I’d kind of lost my appetite by this point anyway. Who wants to have dinner in that atmosphere? Also the bar and reception area was freezing. The room was basic but had everything I needed, although a power outlet closer to the bed would’ve been better. In terms of sleep quality, the walls are paper thin. I was woken at 02:30 by the drunk in the next room putting the tv on full blast, where it remained the rest of the night, so almost no sleep. Tried to sleep later in the morning but could hear every word of Sarah in the adjoining room’s business calls. Breakfast was great and the chef was lovely.

I arrived late due to a long drive so around 12am but phoned to let them know that, was told it's 24hr reception. Good size carpark Quick check in but no info given. I've stayed here about 10 years ago and unfortunately it's definitely not had any love since then. The room was a good size but looked very worn (I mean it was clean as best as possible). The shower room was also a good size again very dated and looking a sorry sight. A ceiling tile was open as shown in the video! Bed wasn't the best, very thin mattress with springs. Shower was very fable lacking pressure. Didn't test wifi Breakfast not included unsure about adding it It's a cheap hotel! So to be expected really. Has a spa and leisure center but didn't use it. Also a pub restaurant. Probably wouldn't stay again as there are better hotels closer by. Unless it's had a good makeover in the future!!!

Great spot. Nice staff. Nice breakfast. We got room 5. Which has a door to room 4. The couple next door were loud. You might as well being in there. If you book don't get them 2 rooms .. otherwise spot on

Great parking area so no issues with trying to find a space with my 3 night stay. Helpful and friendly staff. Decent bar area with some outside seating. Quiet room, i didn't hear a thing from the other guests or anything from the corridor at all during my stay. The room itself was clean, but it did smell slightly of damp and unfortunately the room finish was more then a little untidy which did let the room down somewhat. All in all, it was a fair price for the stay and i would consider staying again if i was travelling alone.

Booked for a last minute breakaway for a couple days shopping and museum visits. We basically used as a base, nice clean rooms, complimentary coffees etc provided. Even tho there's a building site behind the lodge the noise is minimal and didn't give us early wake up calls at all. Would recommend anybody to stay. Only downside was the window of room appeared to have a burst seal on it giving steamed window effect, but wandering through lodge it would appear its part way through renovations so would think that would be on the the to do list eventually. Would come back and next time try the foods on offer

Room was clean and very spacious but a bit dated. Good price for a basic overnight stay. Bar area good and was showing football.

Stayed here as at a works xmas party not far away. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable ( only niggle was the pillows as they were no support).
