   Imran at the Whitechapel location was absolutely incredible. From the moment I walked in, he went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He was genuinely kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire visit. You can really tell he cares about his customers he didn’t just solve my issue, he made the whole experience feel effortless and positive. He even went the extra mile and surprised me with a few goodies, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s rare to come across service this good nowadays, and Imran truly stands out. Thank you, Imran, for your exceptional service you’re a real credit to the team at Whitechapel!

   I visited the JD store today and witnessed a very unpleasant incident. A Black customer accidentally dropped their coffee on the floor — it didn’t spill on any shoes, and the customer immediately apologized for the mistake. However, one of the staff members (possibly a manager) started verbally abusing them in Bengali and even made racist comments. After checking the reviews, I noticed that several other people have also complained about his behavior. Someone like that should not be working in customer service. The rest of the staff weren’t very friendly either, which made the whole environment uncomfortable. Even though the incident didn’t happen to me directly, it completely ruined the shopping experience. I will definitely avoid the Whitechapel branch of JD in the future and would advise others to do the same if they want to avoid a bad experience.

   I have ordered a pair of trainers for click and collect. I didn’t receive any information whether my item was ready to collect so I went to jd sports in Whitechapel to ask one of the staff. I met Mohamed who kindly asked my name and order number. He then checked for my item. It wasn’t on the system but he went to the back and found my item. Mohamed was really helpful and very welcoming. The manager at the door was nice and welcoming too. Thank you Mohamed for your help yesterday .

   Scam artists. My mum went in on the 24th March 2025 to buy dome clothing items as gifts and was missold & pressured in paying for Crep Wipes. She went back today (31st March 2025) and was told they would not refund the item under any circumstance. I understand that the staff have sales targets to sell cheap tat but this was an absolute scam targeting an elderly woman.

   Excellent selection of footwear trainers bought my wife, a pair of Nike 720s reacts. Also bought my daughter a matching pair from the WoolwichJD sports store and a nice Nike jacket for the baby, & Tracksuit, customer service all round in both all three shops shops and generally in JD Sports, bought some Arsenal tops from Angel chapel market, store for my self and sons.

   Worst Jd around , lacks customer service and there is clearly a poor management structure in place. JD should look into this branch. Clearly this isn't one of the busier stores and the reason for this is obvious. Staff need to be trained; they clearly don't know store policies or consumer rights in regards to exchange and refunds.

   worst JD ever. my dad bought some trousers a day ago and went today to return/exchange it and one of the Asian girls in the tills lied and said that it smelt and refused to give a refund. even though its been a day and there's a new Christmas policy saying they've eased the return and exchange policy allowing people to return items longer than 28 days? but when my dad goes the next day they lie and be rude to him so they can avoid giving him a refund. they also took advantage of the fact that he doesnt speak English well. but I'm sure if i went to exchange it they would've not lied about it smelling? but probs woudlve made another excuse...also reading the other reviews i realised another time i tried to return a online item they also lied and said they dont do refunds because ''they're a small branch'' how does that even make sense. all these rubbish people hired in this jd need to be fired. acting up because they work in JD. know your place. something clearly needs to be done about this..if all reviews are about the bad workers and all the lies they're feeding us innocent customers.

   The absolute worst JD sports store ever to exist. It's full of hooligans in uniform (which they wear incorrectly so look scruffy like street dogs). These staff members continuously lie and make up policies on the spot in order to confuse customers and trick them out of money. I purchased something in store and brang it back next day as the size was incorrect (it had all its labels intact and good as new) and asked to get a refund as stated on the receipt. However, staff got rude with me and made up policies on the spot saying things like "we can't refund items that are more than £20" and "we can't refund items in this particular store, it now has to be taken to a bigger store". Don't shop here as they hire a bunch of lazy con artists to man the store.
