   If the filthy outside of the building is anything to go by, The standards on the inside are probably not very good either. If it wasn't for the kindness of local volunteer litter pickers, this area would be constantly in a mess. One to avoid if cleanliness is important to you!

   Our experience with Pillo Rooms was extremely disappointing and completely unprofessional. We booked a stay in Salford for our employee and received check-in instructions in advance — but the key safe didn’t work, and there was no way to access the property. I personally spent over 90 minutes calling, leaving voicemails, and emailing their reservations team — no response whatsoever. With no support and no access to the accommodation, we were forced to book alternative lodging late at night, out of pocket, after a long workday. To make matters worse, after I raised the issue via Booking.com, the property simply cancelled the booking without any explanation. No apology, no acknowledgment, and no resolution — just silence. This is completely unacceptable and not what you expect from a professional hospitality provider. I’ve submitted a formal request for reimbursement and am now pursuing this further through the appropriate channels. Avoid Pillo Rooms unless you're prepared to be left stranded with zero support.

   We are staying here while our house is having some building work done. The open plan living area is very clean and everything you need is provided in the kitchen. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws and 2 bedside tables. The bathroom is lovely and clean with an electric shower. The maintenance crew and both friendly and helpful. Getting into the city is very easy, there is a tram stop 5 mins away.

   Apartment was clean, spacious and all the kitchen utensils and appliances were very handy. Property was easily accessible and a great location with shops and takeaways close by and for getting straight onto the motorway. We had a very comfortable sleep and would definitely choose to stay here in the future. The free street parking right next to the property was a plus. All round excellent stay and great value for money.

   I recently stayed in a Pillo rooms apartment in Salford for work and I would highly recommend. Excellent location, 15 minutes from media city, close to multiple supermarkets and places to eat. The apartment was very large with everything you need for your home away from home, lots of space and the team were helpful with any questions I had. I will definitely be staying here again when I am back in Manchester!

   I had a great long stay in this apartment. When we arrive, the room was exceptionally clean. Everything was like as it is shown in the photos. Dishes, silver ware and kitchen utensils were provided. Room temparature was adjustable by ourselves. The stuff was helpful, caring and problem solvers. Location is quite good. There is a bus stop in front of the building and tram line is in walking distance. İt was a lovely place. We felt home. This is '' the place to stay'' in Salford. Thank you so much Pillo Rooms.

   This is like the tenth plus time my husband and I have stayed here. Each time a different one of their apartment/rooms. We book through AirBnB and the process never fails! We love coming here as the location is ideal and the rooms are just what we need. All of the listing details are accurate, including the free on street parking outside!

   Had a lovely stay there. Wonderful location and we had a great view out our window. The high ceilings made the space feel much larger than we anticipated and the exposed brick was a great feature. Burgerism down the street is a must spot for takeaway. We only stayed a couple night but wished it were longer, planning on staying again in the future. The parking next to the building was a perfect feature as well.

   I stayed here last October (took my time writing this review). The flat had everything you could need for a short stay. The place was clean, bright and very comfortable. It was also only a short walk to Weaste tram stop so very handy for getting into town. Not the handiest for shops for getting food shop in if you don't have a car but if you plan in advance that isn't much of an issue. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Manchester.
