   The worst stay of my life, i was booked for 2 nights stay, and left after the first night. The pungent smell as soon as you walked into the property, the kitchen downstairs was cooking at midnight to which i contacted the manager, she said she told them to stop cooking, i was violently nauseous all night. To accompany the smell there were loud uncomfortable noises all night, which affected my sleep. I woke up at 6am after a restless sleep, i was vomiting because of the awful smell of cooking. Would absolutely never recommend. I was not offered an apology after speaking to the manager, she was very dismissive and said i wouldnt get a refund. Please DO NOT STAY HERE. Requested a refund from booking.com but have been told i cannot, again appalling service,

   Rooms smelt really bad, no hygiene of the lodge, other lodgers cooking smelly food late at night, making me feel extremely sick, the room was clean, however the noises through the night and the smell was unbearable. Would not recommend

   As we arrived we saw that the lodge was very run down- we chose to ignore this however as we went inside we were met with a very unpleasant smell and the place looked super filthy. The lady at the front desk told us that we had booked a room with a shared bathroom, even though we had booking confirmation about this. We ended up in a room with a private bathroom however it was filthy, extremely small, TV didn’t work and the walls were peeling. Generally just unpleasant and over priced. We stayed 20 minutes and decided to book another hotel. We informed the woman at the desk that we had requested a refund(for the 2nd night) with booking.com. She then tried to tell us that it was non refundable and said “it’s not my problem it’s booking.com” and just was very unhelpful/ unprofessional. Don’t book this if you want comfort

   Lots have said it before. Basic, tired rooms, a bit grubby, and some dubious electrics, but crisp, clean bed linen and towels and a friendly, helpful young couple running it, and what you'd expect for the low price. I can't possibly imagine it for a wedding or homeymoon, but I can see why folk would stay for the airport - personally, I had a funeral to attend early next morning so it worked out fine.

   This was a great place to stay! I was a bit cautious due to some of the reviews, but it was perfect for a night stay before the airport. The receptionist was shy and not talkative but still smiling and checked us in efficiently. Our room was easy to get to, clean, and had some tea and coffee which was lovely. The shared bathroom was also very clean and not often used, so it was great to get a cheap room for value. I would recommend staying here.

   It's basic accommodation but the room had been cleaned well before my check in. The reception and staff all seem very friendly and professional. The dining area and kitchen are really clean and well kept. All in all, I'm really pleased with the place.

   Good service for a good rate ... We pick how much we want to pay for the room ... and they just let you in ... So stop complaining about little things and next time try splash the cash abit more to your expectations hate snobby people who moan all the time ... I stayed here for a week and it was what I payed for and the guy at reception was really nice and friendly I would stay here again 100%

   Booked over the phone day previous. I had a late arrival from Germany, on contacting them they txt me an entry code for front door and room number, excellent service and yet so simple. The Lodge offers an ideal stop over for airport and only £9.00 in a taxi. I would recommend and use it in the future.
