Sasha and Ellie (Guildford) were super helpful and lovely to me. They helped me try on many pairs until we found a mixture of everything I needed. There was an issue, so I had to go back, but the sunday team were lovely and efficient with dealing with it. Thank you :)

Today I visited the Schuh store in Guildford. I was assisted by Abigail, whose name I specifically asked for because I was truly impressed by her courtesy, speed, patience, respect, and genuine desire to help me. She moved around the store assisting other customers as well, but always with grace and professionalism, kindly encouraging me to take my time when considering my purchase. Congratulations on having such a remarkable employee, both as a professional and as a person. On the other hand, I had a negative experience with another staff member, who made me feel uncomfortable while I was trying on a pair of shoes and looking at some others near the exit. I felt as though she was suspicious of me, possibly fearing that I might steal something, as she repeatedly asked if I needed help, in a manner that felt more pressuring than helpful. I believe further training is needed for your staff, so they can better assess customer behavior and create a welcoming and pleasant shopping experience, not one that makes customers feel uneasy. Thankfully, Abigail truly made the difference with her professionalism and left me with a positive impression of your store.
After a very stressful and unsuccessful morning of school shoe shopping, we tried Schuh for our last ditch attempt. The staff were amazing and helped us find a pair for both children, the correct size was out of stock but was ordered with free delivery to our home address. Definitely returning to Schuh for school shoes again, even my children left complimenting our experience in the shop. Update: less than 2 weeks into term both pairs had broken and we were refused a refund on them. Such a shame as we had really high hopes for the shop.

Pressure selling techniques!! The staff were like sharks, as soon as I picked up a shoe, within 10 seconds I had two staff asking if I needed any help. Whilst trying on the shoes, I had the sales woman stand over me like a hawk. When I asked for a minute (to think if I wanted to spend over £150 on these shoes) she still just stood there, waiting. I quite liked the shoes but I felt so pressured to buy them that I left the shop. Not a pleasant experience and I won’t be back.
Went in to buy crocs, and waited for 25 minutes. However we we're efficiently served by a floorworker Hannah (Queen) and the acting floor manager. The hectic atmosphere was explained by it being a Saturday, but the lack of tills and aimless waiting felt unnecessary and annoying
