My washing machine broke down just before Christmas I want to say a massive thank you to Andy in the shop for sorting a new one so promptly and an even bigger thank you to Stuart who installed new machine on Saturday morning and gave me valuable advice on my dishwasher. I would definitely recommend this firm, they were amazing, from when we entered their shop and getting the best advice on what we wanted, which was an induction hob love it, and we asked about a freezer to go in the garage, which we will be going back for, the 2 men who delivered and installed the hob for us were excellent also, very polite , pleasant and nothing was any trouble to them they worked together so well and the cleaned up and took the broken hob away fabulous till we come again thank you so much
I am a big fan of local repair firms so when my 2.5yr old Neff Oven stopped working I contacted S&D Ireland hoping to get a more cost effective repair (Neff’s own repairers wanted a whopping £100 callout charge or to sell a £15 per month insurance policy). I told S&D on arrival that the error code was indicating a faulty fan, but after inspection they said it wasn’t the fan that was the problem, but in fact a ‘module’ that needed replacement. They promised to call the following day with a price but warned it wouldn’t be cheap. They did indeed call the following day, but to say it wasn’t just the module that was faulty but other parts would also need to be replaced, hence repairing the oven wasn’t cost effective. They then offered to sell me some comparable Neff ovens and gave me a couple of quotes around the £650 to £850 mark. I found it incomprehensible that a top of the range Neff oven barely out of warranty was beyond repair, so I decided to get a second opinion from Neff’s own repairers, who came and repaired it within 30 minutes with a replacement fan (exactly as the oven’s own error code had indicated). The oven is now fully working again. Draw your own conclusions from this folks, but I did notice a general theme from other reviews that appliances haven’t been repairable and new were sold in their place. I won’t be coming here for my repairs in future.
Rang to report a fault on Monday morning. Given a slot on Wednesday morning. Two engineers arrived mid morning. Very pleasant and polite. Fault located and repaired within 30 minutes. Highly recommend this company
Keith came to repair my 10 year old Lamona dishwasher. He was respectful, careful, knowledgeable and fixed my problem. The response time to my call out was swift, and they were earlier than promised. I would happily recommend Ireland's for all domestic appliance repairs...
My washing machine, which I bought from Irelands broke down at the height of the crisis. It was over 5 years old and out of warranty but well maintained. When I mentioned that as a key worker I had to wash my uniform daily Andy at Ireland's couldn't do enough for me. The machine was fixed and returned within a few days. I've always used Irelands and recommend them to all my friends and family. Would highly recommend them - an excellent family business in the heart of Ormskirk.
