Been and purchased quite a few times, experience can be solely down to staff members as some cant be bothered and just tell you to order online. But if everyone did that then these people would have no jobs ! Not the brightest of staff some of them Went again today for a kettle, asked a tall male member of staff no stock ! He was ignorant and unprofessional . Really should not be in a shop with no social skills. They really need new professional happy staff …..

I didn't get the lady's name i was dealing with unfortunately. She was so un helpful she didn't want to serve anyone and was moaning about working until 5pm. Its the first time at currys wigan I have experienced this sort of behaviour. Im a dementia sufferer and told her this incase I was talking to much. She a young lady and little on the large side. I don't mean to be rude that's the only way I can dicsribe her. She ruined my day. I lady and her husband behind me walked out.

Very friendly staff help me find what I needed straight away. Gave me multiple different payment options and I was able to decide which was the best one. Also even though I bought my products before the black Friday sale, they showed me how to register in order to claim the discount if the price drops. All in all I recommend coming here and I will be for when I havey next upgrade.

Please be aware of this dubious practice. I'm a 75 y.o. pensioner. After buying a SIM card from this crowd in February 2025 I was given a so called credit card with an amount on it. I wasn't told it had a 6 month expiry date on it. The salesperson just wanted my money. When I came to use the card a sales person showed me on the card the 6 month opt out from Currys. The print was so small it was almost illegible. Talk about small print. In a 10mm area there is about 12 lines of print. I will not be shopping at Currys or any affiliate of theirs and I merely wish to warn others about this practice that they apply without consideration or discussion.

Called in to view and buy a television. Initially we were greeted by a nice lady who welcomed us warmly which was nice. After looking and finding the television we wanted I asked one of 2 young assistants ( who were stood chatting) if I could pay for the television, he pointed at the pay desk near the front entrance so I said OK thanks. After standing there for 10 minutes whilst another colleague was draling with a return the young lad came to where we were and proceeded to serve someone who had accidentally bypassed me in the queue. By this point I'm nearly thinking of leaving without said television. After over another 5 minutes my wife approached a huddle of about 5 colleagues chatting and asked nicely if someone could take my money and pay. One said of course, opened another till and I paid in about 30 seconds. Not the best shopping experience I've had tbh, the lady was nice when we entered the store, but after that the customer service fell pretty flat. The television is great though and was a decent price, so small positives

Bought a tablet online. Paid to collect here. The date passed, I contacted currys who advised it would be dispatched soon. Email received today they do not have this in stock. Person on chat can't log a complaint or get my money back. Writing a 1 star review on here, not really the stores fault, just nowhere else to express my anger and currys

No Customer service. When entering the store there the whole staff was doing absolutely nothing at the entrance. Was looking to buy a laptop for afriend but one bank was switched of totally and no staff member seem to care. When finally attracted the attention of one staff member they were eager to point out that they would get another one. When the other person arrived he said he had people waiting upstairs. Queue was building up at till No staff member could be bothered to man the till. The attitude of the staff is unbelievable. You lost a sale. Went to Argos instead. No hassle.
