needed to return a faulty controller fort a known issue which there is many forums online for, the staff tested it for 10 seconds deemed it as not faulty and that was it, so i am now stuck with a broken controller which i cant sell which was also Β£150. staff seem to think that the money is going to come out of their wages. extremely unhelpful and uninterested.

Really miss the old store and feel this is the downfall of GAME because no one will know the shop is upstairs in sports direct , they probably won't have as many sales as everyone prefers digital pre-orders due to covid and midnight launches have become a thing of the past.

Good, friendly and helpful staff. Had to wait a minute to be served but it was just the one guy working so can't fault him.

Ordered a game online and received wrong edition. Went to the store today to ask if I can return/replace it as I saw they had it in stock. The guy behind the till couldn't be bothered to even think about it. Unfriendly, unhelpful and straight up rude. Strange return policy and bad customer service - will probably stick to other shops in the area.

The experience we've had in here today is reflective of the reasons I think the high street is doomed. The queue stretched from the tills to the door. Three people behind the counter. Two dealing with one customer and one faffing with a return. Forget about the shoddy experience, purely from a Covid perspective I would've thought the goal would be to get rid of the queue as quickly as possible. Seemingly not, the most important thing is to deal with tasks that can wait in preference to actual live customers & to get two members of the team to deal with a customer complaining about a purchase. After reaching the front of the line, the chap decided that the returned PS5 that had been on the desk all the time we were in the queue needed to be dealt with there and then & the two younger members of the team needed to double team a console with missing software. When I grumbled I was told that everyone was busy. I'm not a regular customer here, the two times I have been this year I've had a similar experience. I'll not be returning. Disinterested staff who have zero concerns about customer satisfaction is rife in the high streets of the UK. I can easily purchase things from faceless e-commerce systems. The high street is your opportunity to delight me and make me a returning customer. If I look at shops that are prospering it's those who offer that wow experience. I'll express my dissatisfaction by not shopping with you again.

Absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. More interested in discussing drugs amongst themselves than even saying a simple hello. Staff scruffy and off putting. Basic training is desperately needed here in how to treat a customer .Needless to say won't be visiting this store again. Visit date Friday 1st February
