   Beware they want money up front and I mean at least £250 to look at your car for warranty claims then say it’s not covered under warranty Basically they rob you blind

   Lovely front room staff. Worst mechanics ever. Consistently incompetant. Cannot even fit a tyre properly. Came off the rim after 2 miles. Dangerous incompetence and negligence. Paid £1 ,500 for a repair on a particle filter recently , 6 weeks later they want to charge &3,000 for a replacement and spend days replacing it. Never a courtesy vehicle The actual catalogue of errors is far longer. Stu.

   I went in because they assured me they could remove the broken front locking wheelnut. Alrighty, I'll try it. Sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes and eventually one of their half trained apprentices comes over "Mr Morley, I'm afraid we have a problem.." They hadn't bothered with the front locking wheelnuts but had instead decided to destroy the threads on a rear one - which was fine as I had torqued it myself the night previous. They then lied to me and told me that I need a complete hub, not just a stud replacement. Totally refused any responsibility. Avoid this place. There are other JLR garages around. Interestingly, their workshop office is full of sales targets pinned to the wall. I checked and none mentioned hubs, but lots of other exploitative options. In the end I left them a set of black stripes and decided to drill the wheelnut off by myself. One new stud later and the issue they caused at the wrong end of the car is also corrected. Bunch of cowboys.
