Got a car less than a year ago, starting going faulty while under the warranty. Advised them of a door fault, they advised would fix. Car was not fixed, they advised me to go main dealers as needed a reset. This cost £120, that was not needed. They advised they fixed wrong door and I had to pay now as warranty had run out £495 it cost. Now service light has come on.i was advised had a full service before it was sold to me.would not trust this garage or recommend. I have reported them to trading standards. Will post updates

❌ Avoid Wilsden Autos – exaggerated advisories, inflated pricing, and zero transparency. I waited over 3 weeks to get booked in, then was charged £59.40 (£49.50 labour + VAT) for what they called a “vehicle inspection.” No service was done — just a vague list of advisories with no photos, no measurements, and no evidence of how long the car was even on the ramp. The invoice included: • “N/S/F & N/S/R tyre cords exposed” – no proof or photos shown. • “N/S/F tyre worn to wear bars” – unverified. • “O/S/F tyre worn to 3mm” – still well above legal limit, not urgent. • “Rotational noise N/S/F” – no diagnosis, just a throwaway line. • “Front brakes worn” – I was quoted in the £500s just for discs alone — pads not included. • “N/S/F jacking pad missing” – no visual evidence. I was also quoted £420 for a major service after being told £350 when booking — I even had it written down. Nearly £300 for two tyres, brake work pushed heavily, and the full quote hit nearly £1,300 for what should’ve been a straightforward job. I had a second professional opinion, including brake photos and an in-person check. Pads had material left, not metal-on-metal, and discs showed nothing beyond expected surface wear. They also refused cash payment for the inspection, saying it’s only accepted for “small things like bulbs,” meaning VAT was unavoidable. I’ve since booked my car in elsewhere for a full major service at a much fairer price — with none of the pressure or upselling. If you value honest pricing, clear communication, and proper inspections — look elsewhere. I walked away. You should too.

I once bought a Audi A6 of them that unbeknown to me had been in a crash, this info wasn't disclosed to me. If you are reading this Wilsden Autos, remember FV57 UYD the grey A6? I only found out it had been in a crash and very poorly repaired after someone had rear ended me and the garage that were repairing it showed me the shoddy repair. The rear crash bar was missing, and holes were patched over with cardboard and filler. The rear plastic bumper cover was masking the damage. If you are considering buying a car off this dealer, be sure to get it checked over by an independent engineer. From experience they will happily sell you a crash damaged car. Under no circumstances trust a word that comes out of their mouths.

Bought my car through Wilsden Motors, couldn’t fault the service, pricing, knowledge or vehicle. Was so impressed bought my daughters car from here too. Nice friendly honest salesman, not pushy.

I've just recently bought a car from here, a little older than they normally sell. I found all the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Had a couple of minor issues with the car but they were sorted quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend this garage.

Amazing service! Took my car in for an MOT, which it failed, but then the explanation and quoting of the work required was brilliantly clear and well explained. My poor ailing car was fully sorted in super quick time, and to top it off was fully washed and valeted! Best. Garage. Ever.
