    Absolutely fantastic words can't say how My experience with halfords Wombwell lane Office staff are very friendly and very helpful The fitters there are amazing at there Jobs. I took my car down because there was a few issues and they sorted it out for me,car runs like new I would recommend halfords to anyone and everyone.....thank you

    Overpriced for work as they knew I was caught. £70 for a new windscreen wiper to be fitted. Extortionate. Will be going to a local garage moving forward.

    Fast and reliable garage. Will return for sure. Been there for a MOT. A waiting room would be nice though as there is not really much to do while waiting.

    Booked in for a specific time to have 2 new tyres fitted. Was told tyres hadn’t arrived and there was no timeframe for when they would. Asked why I couldn’t be contacted to let me know in advance to potentially save a wasted journey. Staff member was rude and obnoxious stating they were too busy. However all their technicians were outside the front of the garage playing on their phones. Clearly do not value their customers and made to feel unvalued.

    Really good experience - Had a puncture and went online to order a replacement and to have someone come to our house to fit. The person that came out was James and he was very friendly, polite and just got on with it. No problems giving 5 stars for the service and to James Thank you.

    Booked an MOT. Failed on 2 things. Got told it was £600 to get repaired. Took it to another garage. They changed the repairs and re MOTd it. Came to just under £200 for all the work and MOT.

    Sent an elderly family member for a simple repair. The breakdown company had already diagnosed the problem after investigating, just for a bit of background. I knew that they would try and upsell, so we sorted payment first before visiting. Upsold a simple job into a huge bill, stating other parts were worn out etc. I never knew a 4 month old part on the vehicle could be worn out. Vile. The family member agreed to the bill before speaking to me so nothing could be done, but all I would say is SHAME ON YOU. Avoid at all costs is my advice! Many reviews on here with similarities to mine!

    Very unhappy. Booked appointment online, dropped car in and told should only take two hours. Came back over two hours later to find car had not even been looked at because - and I quote - "we are very busy". Nobody bothered to call to advise me there was a possible delay, and no apology offered. Shocking customer-service all round - leaving me very unhappy.

    Put my car on diagnostic then told me it needed a new engine. Took it to a different garage and they’ve flushed the engine and changed a filter and it’s fine. Very disappointed with Halfords, feel like I wasted my money taking my car to them. Cost of living is tight enough without throwing money down the drain!
