   Just back from taking our 84 year old mum to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, we absolutely loved it, brilliant cast, superb music and fantastic singing. So good she wants to go again! They even had a real Chitty Chitty Bang Bang too which flew! Awesome direction and production, just a great evening, don’t miss what is an absolute masterpiece of entertainment.

   A perfect representation of community theatre and all that it embodies. A truly valued asset that is kept vibrant, modern and popular by all that support and maintain the building. Accessibility is great and cares for its older members. A centre point for home grown, natured talent that is of a professional standard in all aspects of theatre from stage, performance, lighting and backstage. I encourage all to visit, support in any way you can. A real jewel nestled in the High Peak.

   Great little local theatre, in New Mills. run by local volunteers and donations. Had fun evening plenty of laughs at the comedy store show. You won’t be disappointed.

   Today is the first day I have been to New Mills Art Theatre, I took my grandson and his Dad to see Sleeping Beauty. I found it to be a lovely, and very welcoming place. Very well kept, great staff, who I presume are mostly volunteers. The production was great, the cost very reasonable too. It was a really nice gesture, that sweets were handed to the children attending at the finale, (sweets made at the nearby Swizzles factory. During the interval we bought ice cream, it's amazing and made in New Mills, which I thought was good. Well done New Mills, for supporting each others businesses!

   Pinked Floyd were honoured to perform for a second time at this beautifully looked after theatre in the heart of High Peak. The stage crew are so kind and accommodating and the audience of New Mills very welcoming - we shall be back if you'll have us!
