A nice bar with a "trashy" atmosphere. I would definitely recommend.

Went to see a band I like play, the venue seems like it could be great but the sound guy got upset and stopped the show to go up and tell at the band members when a microphone failed. Then he cranked the fog machine up so high the room was like a sauna and the electronics started to give out bc of the humidity. Cool upstairs bar, nice venue space but that guy ruined the gig.

Cracking little back street pub. Went on a Saturday before going to Aatma which is through the back door up a well lit alley and upstairs. Nice busy little pub with a friendly atmosphere. Drinks aren't over priced and the bar staff were all pleasant and friendly. Well worth calling in .

New venue to me, great space downstairs, and a really good bar on the ground floor with a good choice of cask beer - decent prices too.

Chilled atmosphere, nice people, polite bar staff and great beer. My friend recommended it as a chilled vibe after work with good music. Only my 3rd day in Manchester but could easily make it a "regular haunt". Heard they're a great venue for alternative music too. Sadly I wasn't staying later to experience, maybe next time.

Spent an amazing evening in the peer hat. Great atmosphere and good selection of beers. Will visit again. Good shows downstairs and interesting interior art.

Great place. Brings back memories of my student days. Even better that my 18 yr old took me in! Girl after my own heart

I visited The Peer Hat this weekend to see The Look Back Bores playing in the underground venue. I had the Squark pale ale beer at under a fiver a pint. There was a good selection of beers available.Payment was by cash or card. Plenty of staff serving at the small bar and so little waiting time. The venue was ideal for the number of attendees. The pub is off the main roads in the Manchester Northern Quarter and so was not packed unlike some bars we passed.

Good atmosphere and bar. Hosts an eclectic mix of events, including live music, comedy, spoken word, and more. Slightly off the beaten track, this is the Northern Quarter's hidden independent gem.

Easily my favourite bar/pub/venue of all time. Friendly, interesting and doing its own thing. What more could you want? Oh, they've got that too: excellent music / performance / DJs on almost every night.
