Very calm place to walk by the river and feel at ease, hope the construction won’t take so long!

The footbridge, a significant gesture over the River Irwell, serves as the first pedestrian crossing and connects the city of Salford with Manchester. The bridge is named after the nearby Trinity Church, and was built between 1993 and 1995. The footbridge emerges from the Salford side, surrounded by two traditional stone-arch motor bridges.

My favourite place in Manchester, all the best memories

One of my favorite places to go for photoshoot with models . Not far away from center but usually quiet .

A ritual of some sort for me. Every time I’m in Manchester, I visit the subdued but iconic atmosphere of st Mary’s parsonage. The imposing Trinity bridge is my comfort zone. I love the ambiance and the delicate balance it gives the luxury of the lowry hotel and the busy streets of the Deansgate

An iconic modern footbridge over the Manchester Ship Canal linking the Imperial War Museum North in Trafford with The Lowry theatre in Salford Quays

An area in the city centre, next to the Lowry Hotel. There are some benches available to seat. Also, the bridge offers views on the Irwell river.

It's very nice place, if you searching for the peace, quiet, and tranquility. This would be the best place for you .. there are chairs to sit on. It's a good place to meditate as well. I highly recommend it, to escape from the hustle of life.

Recently completely unable to walk or drive over bridges due to an onset of debilitating Gephyrophobia - I felt it was finally time to conquer my fears once and for all. Both my doctor and therapist strongly recommended this bridge as the one to go for. They couldn't have been more right, crossing this bridge was not just an exhilarating but a life changing experience for me - the sense of achievement when I finally reached the other side of the Irwell for the first time was phenomenal. Not too keen on Salford - 3 stars.
