   I am from the Blackpool area and my car broke down in Bakewell - sounded like a bag of spanner’s in the engine!! Bakewell MOT centre were incredibly helpful to someone who was stranded in a town she didn’t know, and they sent someone out to look at my car (even though they don’t do repairs as it’s a MOT garage). Diagnosed the issue and I was able to drive home (slowly ). They were very helpful in a very stressful situation for me Thank you so much Clare

   On holiday and having some coolant issues with my Skoda superb. They fitted me in straight away, gave it an inspection, confirmed that it wasn't anything serious. Topped up the system for me and no charge. If I lived here, this would be my garage of choice.

   Amazing garage the likes of which are all too rare now. Had a problem with car wheel on arriving at Bakewell for a few hours look around while on holiday in Peak District. They were busy but still offered to help and had car fixed in less than 3 hours, only charging an incredibly reasonable amount. Incredible service, and I was extremely grateful. You won’t get better than this!

   My husband and I took a trip out to Bakewell in our motor home last week. Everything was going great until we took a turn into a single track road up in the hills were we got to a hairpin bend and could not turn the van. We got in a situation where we blocked the whole road off both ways. My husband and I didn't have a clue where we were or, what to do. Luckily enough dog walkers approached they gave us a number of the Bakewell MOT centre where a gentleman called Matty kindly came to our rescue. We can't thank him enough for his kindness, calmness and knowledge of how to get out of a very dangerous situation. Thank you Matty Rachelle, Terry and Harley dog xxx

   Visited Bakewell for the weekend. Came back to the car 3 days later battery completely flat white sirocco. Called the mot station just to see if they had a breakdown service. Said he would pop round in 5 mins with power pack. This he did and had me up and running in a few minutes. All done at the most reasonable price. What a fantastic service. Thank you so much.
