Thank to Lovers Leap Garage for fixing my car during our holiday. Broke down a few miles away and since we were Staying at the Moon Inn, Dave the AA man recommended the garage. Great service.
I will happily shout from the rooftops my praises and gratitude for this place. I had driven from Brighton to Edinburgh and was heading back south via Bakewell when my check engine light appeared. As I continued to drive my temperature gauge started freaking out on me. In a panic I tried to pull over couldn't find anywhere until my prayers were answered and this place appeared. I quickly pulled in and explained my situation to one of the workers and they immediately took my keys and went and had a look. They told me what was wrong with the car and did what they could for it all within the hour. I cannot explain how grateful I am for their hospitality and kindness. I will happily be recommending this place to anyone I know who travels around the area and to all my northern friends around the area. I cannot say thank you enough!!!

Superb service. I was on my way to play golf at Chesterfield when I ran over a small rock that punctured the side wall of my front tyre. Managed to make it to Lovers Leap where they replaced the front two wheels so I could get to my golf tee on time whilst they sourced like for like tyres. All replaced later on the way back. Can’t thank them enough. Very good price too.
Could not recommend this place highly enough! My girlfriend and drove 4hrs to come to peaks district and lo and behold we hit a badger in my 1week old car… it had broke the radiator. We took it to lovers leap garage with no booking no nothing and they greeted us with a smile and said they can help us out. We took it in that morning thinking our first trip away together was ruined but got a phone call that afternoon saying they have fixed it! I could not believe it. Everyone who works there is an absolute champion all smiles and beyond helpful I wish I lived here so I could take my car there for every check up and issue ever! Thanks again so so much guys, cheers for saving our trip.

We had an incident with a pot hole whilst driving home from our holiday in the Peak District. Lovers Leap were able to take us in and get us back on the road within a couple of hours, despite not having the required tyres in stock. Their team were extremely helpful and the garage was a lovely place that made me wish it was closer to home, so we could use them again. Would highly recommend.
I would not wish to take my beloved Jaguar XK to any other garage than Lovers Leap. Adrian is a fastidious professional in all that he does and this is clearly shown by the meticulous garage, knowledgable mechanics, and you are greeted at reception both friendly and again professional. I also took my Volvo there for new tyres as their prices are very competitive and I knew they would be fitted and balanced correctly. Well done to all staff - a delightful experience.
I've used Lovers Leap for many years for both car and motorcycle work and always found them to be efficient and reliable. Adrian knows his cars and motorcycles inside out and his advice is always sound and to the point. They have, on occasion - and without bidding - sourced hard-to-find parts from eBay and tried doubly hard to get things exactly right. It's interesting to see the wide variety of vehicles they are entrusted with - from classic cars of great value to expensive modern ones and even daily run-abouts. Of course, such a high level of service is not cheap but, if you want your vehicle properly maintenance by experts, this is the place to go.
