We did the Rhine River cruise on the Emerald Destiny in April of 2025. It was a wonderful experience. The boat is comfortable, and the crew greets you with, βWelcome Home!β The service on board, the friendliness and professionalism of the crew, the food and excursions made for what is truly the experience of a lifetime. It was our first trip to Europe (and may be the only one we get to take), and we couldnβt have been happier.

Having never cruised before we were enticed by the small ship experience of Emerald Azzurra (the huge cruise ships have never appealed to us). The whole cruise was a fantastic experience. With just 100 guests on board it really felt like your own private yacht. There was always a quiet place to read a book or soak up the sun by the pool. Staff were very attentive and made us feel like part of the Emerald Cruises family β nothing was ever too much trouble. We are definitely booking another cruise on board Azzurra for next year!!

Absolutely gobsmacked and disgusted. Our Rhine crise was cancelled on 19th April for a start on 23rd. Only found out by phoning and (waiting 50 Mins) to be told this. Possibly we would only have found out in Frankfurt that there was no cruise. Refund in 35 days offered and they had had our full payment since December 2021

Booked the holiday 2019 for the year 2020. Due to the covid the holiday was cancelled but it was re-booked for 2021. No bodies fault. We got confirmation of the flights and intinery for this December, received are free rucksacks. Received an email on Saturday 20th November 2021 to say holiday was cancelled due to the covid. Understandable. We waited for someone to contact us about the holiday, seeing they still had our money and the cabin was booked. No contact from them. Contacted them 3/12/21 to find out what was happening. They advised they had tried to ring us on our land line but no answer. They emailed us to advise us the holiday was cancelled so why didn't they email us to advise us to contact them immediately. the cabin had gone to someone else.very unprofessional. Very disappointed in the service. No cabins where left only a suite which was an extra Β£900 each. What a shame they did that to us as we where going to book a summer cruise as well through them, as we thought they had been very helpful. Huh!! Will be telling all our friends and family not to go through emerald. Feel as though they have done the dirty on us. Would rather not give any stars. If possible would give a minus star. Very very disappointed.

We have found emerald waterways to be an excellent company to deal with, very polite staff and really hepful. We have no compliants at all from our two previous holidays with them and have in fact just booked a holiday for next year with them.

Sublime cruise down the River Rhone. Beautify ship and fantastic crew. All made for one of our best holidays. Really good value for money. Highly recommended and will definitely travel with them again.
