   Very busy and popular tea room. We were lucky to get a table. We just popped in for tea and cake. The cream tea was delicious and so was the loose leaf tea. Would happily return. Toilets were clean and upstairs. Very friendly and helpful team too.

   Me and my friends were seated quickly despite not booking, all the staff were so lovely and attentive and it had such a cosy atmosphere. The food was perfect for a brunch/lunch and had brilliant gluten-free options for my friend with a gluten intolerance. Will definitely be returning!

   Firstly it’s definitely worth booking to get a table here and I’m glad we did! We had a warm welcome from the staff and wow the menu was amazing. There were lots of gluten free options and I was told all the cooking for gluten free was done separately which is exceptional! I had a lush gluten free toastie and the biggest piece of cheesecake I’ve ever seen! Mostly all their cakes are gluten free as well, apart from the scones Would definitely recommend for gluten free

   I just popped in for breakfast. Now, as an American that usually means coffee and muffin/roll/scone (nothing like a British scone). I'm not celiac BUT my gastro AND my endo think I should avoid gluten as much as possible. Sadly, scones are the only baked good that isn't GF at Marmalade. I went with fruit crumble and custard sauce. It was wonderful. They brought my custard on the side (Americans!!!). I was glad, as it had a subtle sweetness with vanilla finish. The crumble itself was the perfect level of sweetness and crisp.

   The food is great and the environment is really cozy and lovely. Most importantly, the people working here are so nice. Even most of the tables are booked, they still managed to give me and my son a table. Great experience dinning here. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

   Absolutly beautiful. I stumbled upon this place on way back to bus station. The jacket was completly lush. And they cater for blvegans too. The above was coronation tofu. Serving size was v generous. As a result this place is on our list ehen we are in our county town. Dont be put off when you see only few tables inside there is plently of seating upstairs.

   From the start very welcoming and friendly. Service was fast and efficient. The food was very good. High quality bacon and eggs. Had been cooked very well. Would definitely return. About average price for a café, more expensive than a budget cafe or breakfast place but it is definitely worth the extra pennies as the quality is so much greater.

   Fantastic cafe that we found online as my husband is diagnosed coeliac and nearly everything they do in here is or can be made gluten free. They also explained that all gluten free food is carefully prepared separately with separate utensils to avoid cross contamination. We didn’t have a reservation and we could see they were super busy but the kind lady managed to sort us a table in 15 minutes. Food was brilliant, my husband had a toasted club sandwich and said it was great. All of the cakes are gluten free (except for scones) so the 5 of us picked one each to take home. Honestly some of the best cakes we’ve ever tried! The banoffee pie is to die for! Highly recommend and we will be back when we are next in the area… definitely recommend making a reservation as it is very popular… we will next time!
