   Bought swimsuit other day which was supposed to be for my size… turns out it wasn’t, returned it and swapped for which I thought was a bigger correct size but was smaller than the one bought first time! Will be returning it again and expect a full refund even though they say they can only provide store credit. I won’t be buying clothing or anything from sports direct again. Put your clothes on the correct hangers with the correct tags. Misleads customers!!!! It is a shame as I know few people who work in there but tomorrow is going to be the third time I’m going back. Maybe I should have tripled checked before exchanging then paying more but why should I?

   In general I like this place 80% of the time I can find something in my budget. Today however I wanna draw SPORTS DIRECT attention to there working procedures perhaps weekends are not the best days to have full n empty restocking clothes rails all over the place Especially for disabled people.(like myself) trying to navigate the busy shop catching my foot on 2 rails n falling with them on me luckily 1 off your staff was Immediately on scene to help. Thank u, SPORTS DIRECT please look into this,

   Today I made a purchase at the Sport Direct branch in Sutton and paid £67 in cash. When I returned to the store to exchange the items, I was told that a refund was not possible because of their store policy. Now, if that is indeed their policy, fair enough but the real issue is that this was never communicated at the time of purchase. What makes it more frustrating is that other stores selling the exact same products under the same name have different refund policies, including offering cash refunds. When there’s a clear inconsistency like this, it is absolutely essential to inform customers upfront especially when cash payments are involved. Not doing so is misleading, if not outright deceptive. To make matters worse, although I paid £67, they issued a voucher for only £65. It’s not just about the £2 it’s about principle. Why should I lose money simply for following their policy, which I wasn’t even told about in the first place? Lastly, the manager I spoke with was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. Her attitude made an already frustrating experience even worse. Instead of trying to find a solution or even show a little understanding, she was rude and unwilling to assist at all. This kind of service is unacceptable. If SportDirect wants to retain customers, they need to be transparent about their policies and treat people with basic respect. Now I understand the 2.7 stars reviews.I won’t be returning to this branch again.

   The place is understaffed when the shop is busy, but the staff I did speak to were courteous and helpful and so no complaints from me. Warning- if you buy from sports direct online, you can't return in store. Pitiful, greedy policy. Not the staff's fault, but that sucks.

   I’m shocked from the extremely poor customer service and no care at all. First had to wait ages to get served because only 1 trainee and 1 training person working together. Then after I releasing I was charged more that I should have I returned to the tills, to find out I need to wait additional 10min to be told that I have been charged in the correct price and there’s no mistake “because the board says 25£” obviously I haven’t taken them from the board but from the shelves placed I. The middle where the remaining sizes were left and which is more then clear in any CCTV, but no, I’m wrong again “the board says…” given the most pot excuse in such a down manner, like I’m not a customer but lesser person?? Is that what a customer stands are for Sport direct?? If so, I’m sorry to say that it is unacceptable

   I chat a lot of s*** about sutton but to be fair, this is one of the best sports directs I've been in. They lost a star cos the staff were really rude to kids that wanted to bounce the balls that were in the big baskets.

   don't shop here they will come up with any excuse not to exchange. My wife picked up a pair of slip on longsdale trainers for me. I tried them on and after half and hour they had rubbed the skin of the top of my feet. I tired to exchange them only to be told first that they would not do it as they had worn outside which is not true, then it was that because they had been worn they where not in a salable condition. Basically any excuse to rip you off and refuse an exchange because it would effect the sales report negative. ( I speak from experience working in jd sports and other sports wear retailers when I was younger) They would happily sell you a set of shoes that have been on display, had God knows who try them on and refused to give you any money off, but say you're not happy with what you have purchased and all of a sudden any reason not to do anything. let's face it the only reason people shop there is because they are cheap and now I know how they make thier profit by ripping people off. I won't be shopping there again and I would advise everyone else not to as well

   It's not a Sports direct anymore, it's some sort of a designer outlet. I have been shopping at Sports direct for over 20 years, but this new chain is a disgrace. During Covid had around £25 in store credit for some stuff I returned which expired (it's my hard-earned money however). Having spent weeks and weeks on the emails with the customer service (located somewhere on the other side of the globe) got no resolution. I must have spent thousands and thousands at this store over the last 20+ years, but never buying a stuff here again and pass the word to friends and family.

   Manager Jay, refuses to speak to customers. Incompetent! His staff are polite and professional though they tried their best but I’m afraid with this level of service manager has no future in management period! Coming from someone that manages 30 staff members myself and 2 businesses! Travelled to 3 stores being told Sutton have the item desired was in stock and they’d print the name & number on the back but got here and they refused said it’s 24hours only despite being over staffed with literally 5 customers in the store at 12 noon. For the record it takes 10mins for the press to warm up and 2 mins to print on the shirt, yet they refused, when I requested to speak to him, hiding out the back just refused!
