   I was visiting my son and daughter in law this weekend, our first visit to the lovely New Mills. I wasn't feeling too well so popped into Boots Chemist. I was served by a friendly young lady and described my symptons, she asked if I wanted to see the pharmacist, and I could do that immediately. I met with the very able, competent and personable lady. She listened took notes and immediatly prescribed a course of treatment which was ready in minutes. I just wanted to thank the team at Boots New Mills, first class and super effecient.

   Since I transferred to this chemist I have had nothing but lovely professional help with everything. So many nice staff the pharmacy is great so I'd like to just say thankyou, you have made my life easier and thankyou for treating me like a real person. Amazing staff. Can I say a couple of years ago it was very diffrent a lady who worked there was very rude and unprofessional so thank goodness it has been brought back to a great standard.

   Staff are consistently courteous, proficient, friendly, and eager to help. They struggle with lack of space, which they overcome using planning and efficiency. I have used this pharmacy for over a decade and have never had a bad interaction.

   Just been to try and get an LFT test had to wait 10 mins til someone finally showed up as they seem more bothered about cackling /laughing in the back rather than helping people. Abysmal service. Just go somewhere else as it can be as bad as this bunch

   If only I could leave no stars, there are a couple of staff who are lovely, there is one who is exceptionally rude and obnoxious, constantly moaning in front of customers about how long until she finishes and is incredibly unprofessional

   when my elderly parents (87) ring up and ask is my prescription ready and are told yes, they don't expect to be left standing in the shop for 20 mins while someone makes up there order!
