Most of the staff are nice and quite helpful. HOWEVER, the young man, who for the most part answers the telephone is incredibly passive aggressive! I had called on three separate occasions to ensure my Meds would be available for delivery the following week. He told me that they would be delivered and were in stock. The delivery date arrived ..... No meds!!!! This has happened multiple times and on one occasion I was left ten days without my medication! I am not supposed to stop and start this particular med. When I called the pharmacy to enquire about the absence of the medication he told me they didn't have it in stock!!!! He knew who I was because I had called him three times in five days. I reminded him of this and his response was well on the days I phoned they had it in stock but on the day of delivery they didn't have any in stock and it could be two, three days or maybe even a week before they would get any! I was exasperated! There was really nothing more I could have done to ensure that I would get my medication. I asked him if he could at least telephone me when they were back in stock and he quite happily told me their telephone system doesn't allow them to telephone customers!!!!! It's 2025 right???? And they don't have the capability to pick up a phone and call???????? Is that really true? Especially when they are aware that this med can not be interrupted . I have since changed my pharmacy because after far too many months I have been let down which has caused me incredible anxiety. This young man doesn't and shouldn't be the first port of call for customers. He is not educated or experienced enough to help or ensure quality service. He is the first and only person that represents Wells Pharmacy and his lack of personal skills is atrocious. Wells Pharmacy should be held accountable for their choice of staff and at least educate them with personal skills AND have an understanding that certain medication SHOULD NOT BE INTERRUPTED! I couldn't have done any more than I did to ensure I would get it on time! Ended up going to my GP and they wrote up another script for me and I took it to a different pharmacy and received my medication that way! I plan to take this complaint further. I have all my calls recorded and I have also made my GP aware of what happened. They were not surprised as they have had many of their patients make the same complaint. Wish me well on this battle because I know full well they will try to cover this up. All this could have been avoided if they didn't have such an incompetent young man responsible for direct interaction with the public!

I have had no alternative to change pharmacy where my prescription is sent. Missed item off a repeat prescription without explanation. It then threw all other meds out. When raised with pharmacist he just looked at me and ignored. Rude and ignorant man. Have a much better service now with my present pharmacy efficent and helpful. Can't understand why I persevered with previous one.

Went to collect antibiotic prescription for my elderly mother and was told I could get them in two days as they had to order them. When I said it was not acceptable as a 90 year old woman needing antibiotics needs the right now not in 2 days and asked them to give me the prescription to go elsewhere. They said it would take 10 minutes. I came back 10 minutes later and they had the antibiotics ready. So not sure why I was lied to in the beginning unless they just couldn't be arsed to do the prescription. UPDATE: 26 JUNE 2024 Prescription sent from Doctors Surgery for my granddaughter and when her mum went to collect it, we were told we would have to come back in a few days as it was not in stock. Then around 40 minutes later we received a text to say the Prescription is ready for collection. So it obviously was in stock but they just couldn't be bothered to get it ready while we waited. This is a medication for a 2 year old!!! What the hell!!?? Why lie ? Stay well clear of this pharmacy if you want quick friendly service. They do not even deserve 1 star!

I wouldn't even give them one star - I have had enough of long queues, medication not being in, then you go back and it's still not in. They're okay if it's a repeat prescription, but if it's something urgent you have no chance! I have moved my business elsewhere.

Been using this chemist for nearly 20ys but for the last months they been missing medication off...it certainty has gone down hill now have been told to order my prescription myself ... Bad service .attitudes

The current manager is rude and unhelpful he is deliberately obstructive when it comes to my disabled sonβs medication- the other pharmacy staff I canβt fault they are vey helpful and friendly

Awful staff! They lie to you. We have been told we collected prescriptions that we haven't and made to look like liars. We're given the wrong medication and less doses then the prescription advised. Staff were rude and disrespectful and blame the patient or the GP for their own mistakes. Issues have been addressed and no one looked in to our issue ever.

Chemist lied to my face, and an elderly lady, looking for Lateral Flow tests. βThereβs none left in the whole of the UKβ. Strange that seeing as though my friend just picked up a pack 2 mins prior from another location. Donβt mind if you have run out, but donβt lie to people who are trying to protect themselves and others. Very unprofessional and Iβd avoid this place as much as possible. Iβve since been to another chemist and picked up a pack with no issuesβ¦
