   I always find Wickes a strange place. Those branches with a toolstation find the prices of Wickes stuff undercut by the in store toolstation, which makes no commercial sense to me. Or perhaps it does, if people buy the higher priced items by failing to check. Anyway, Wickes is never a patch on the other main DIY retailer, but serves a purpose by being local. Use out of need, rather than want.

   Dodgy curry from the night before and this was the closest public amenity that I could use. Excellent loos and friendly, cheery, cleaning staff. Would highly recommend if found in similar predicament!

   We had our bathroom designed by a lovely, helpful lady called Ros Spooner. The service this lady provided us with was 1st Class. Our bathroom has now been fitted by our own fitters and it looks amazing, we are so happy with our bathroom. Ros helped to maximise the space we had and ensured we had everything we needed, to make our bathroom feel all the more special. Thank you Ros, I will have no problem recommending you to any of my friends and family x

   I felt so dissatisfied todays visit. I spent £200+ and I so wish I had a local alternative to spend my money in - I would not use Wickes again in Wilnecote. The person serving on the till couldn't-care-less - it was painful. She was on the phone for a good few minutes while I waited to pay - no signal to show she saw me there and when she got off the phone she gave the impression that my presence was not welcome... I was just trying to pay. She made no reference to the fact that I had been waiting and did not attempt to say even a cursory 'thank you' after taking payment. Is this poor training? Poor management at this branch? Poor corporate philosophy? (Anyone who has done any retail work knows to attend the person who is in front of you first) Is this person in the wrong job? Dunno...She didn't seemt to want to be there. I will travel to B & Q next time. This was very, very poor service. I gave two stars because I got the items I needed at a fair price... becasue of her attitude it was begrudgingly!

   I suppose I'll have to give 1 star as I can't give less. Tried to place my order, slabs, sand etc but no delivery slots were available, told to try next day as they release slots daily. Tried again next day, still same problem, no delivery slots available. Contacted customer services re when slots are added so I can place order. They looked at my order & said that it didn't matter when the slots were released because all my order was out of stock? Nothing about these items being out of stock was on their website. All customer service had to say was they would try & update the website. What a hopeless company this is, will have to go elsewhere for my order.
