   I have recently started using MKM Birmingham North, and I must say, the experience has been fantastic. As a female in this industry, I often feel like I'm treated as second to the men, but that has not been the case here. Jason and the team have always been courteous, helpful, and have never made me feel stupid. The professionalism, respect, and friendliness they exhibit are truly commendable. This business is truly excellent, with a great level of stock and a wonderful team. The variety and quality of their products have consistently met my needs, and the staff's dedication to providing top-notch service is evident in every interaction.    Didn't have the greatest first experience with MKM North Birmingham. Decided to try out MKM to compare against my local independent builders merchants. I had the preconception that ordering online would be quick, easy, and an overall better experience. Unfortunately, in this case the outcome was not. Made my order online. Email instructions then state that the local depot (MKM North Birmingham) will be in touch to arrange and discuss delivery. Two business days pass and no communication at all from the depot. Suddenly, a delivery vehicle arrives at 7:30am at my home address without any prior notice to me at all. I wasn't in to receive a delivery, I was at work. Fortunately, my pregnant partner was in to accept it, but at this point, she was worried as she did know where to get the load dropped. However, as there was no prior correspondence. I had to wake up my neighbour via a phone call in order for them to move their vehicle for MKM to gain access to our driveway. The experience as a whole caused worry and embarrassment to me. All of it could have been avoided if the customer service was better and they had picked up the phone to me just as their instructions said they would. I would have made arrangements to make sure the delivery went smoother and also saved their delivery driver time as I believe he had to wait around for 10-15 minutes for my neighbour to move his vehicle. Also, their prices were slightly higher than my local merchants, I would have accepted this slight increase if the order process was smoother and easy as I thought I was going to be. Very disappointed.

   Arrived here at 1150am on the 25/03/23 (Saturday). We knew they close at 12pm but just wanted a quick peek at their kitchens and bathrooms and to leave detailed plans for them to quote for a 26 unit kitchen with 7 appliances and 3 bathrooms and a cloakroom unit. Got out the car and seen a member of staff peering through the window (window just by the car park) who then proceeded to close it very quickly. Went round the front and back and everything closed at 1152am. OK not an issue everybody deserves to finish early I suppose now and then :). We stayed outside the vehicle for about 5 minutes as I was taking a few phone calls and same member of staff walked past us looking rather sheepish, head bowed with no acknowledgement of our existence. A simple sorry we missed you and these are our opening hours would have been suffice. There loss not mine. If this is the standard of their customer service it seems we (happily) dodged a bullet. Management will have access to Cctv and can see for themselves if this review is genuine or not.

   I've used mkm a few times now. The customer service from over the phone, forklift driver all the way to the delivery driver is top class. Well done keep it up. It definitely makes me wanna use your services again and whoever is up the top needs to know how well you manage customers.

We are delighted with the service you extended on behalf of MKM a company you are clearly proud to represent. We have had a number of challenges throughout this post pandemic supply chain difficulty however with occasional input and support of management, you have managed and exceeded our expectations across every aspect of the process in particular the pro active nature of your advice support, experience and communication skills. Every time I called or visited the branch all of the staff were highly competent efficient and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending you and MKM for kitchen design and supply of all associated materials and services.
