This is a classic venue with 60s and 70s vibes tucked away on Railway Road, it's just a great place to get a coffee they do food as well, it's a proper trip down memory Lane with all the pictures on the walls and the music that's played at reasonable level, so you can chat, and you inevitably end up talking to everybody in there, because it's so friendly, it's also a music venue, where he has entertainment on upstairs in the evening at weekends. Overall, this is a gem of a place and it's a shame to pass it by.

The moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly ground coffee and warm pastries hits you like a hug. I went for the smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs and the chilli-honey halloumi – honestly one of the best plates I’ve had all year. Perfectly balanced flavours, generous portions, and everything felt so fresh. The staff deserve a special shout-out: super friendly, remembered my weird oat-milk-flat-white order without writing it down, and even brought over a tiny complimentary madeleine “because it just came out of the oven”. Little touches like that make all the difference. Cosy vintage decor, plenty of natural light, great playlist (think indie-folk vibes), and dog-friendly too – my spaniel got his own bowl of water and a belly rub from the barista! Whether you’re after a quick coffee or a long lazy weekend catch-up, this place nails it. Already planning my next visit. 11/10, will be telling everyone I know!

Called in today for a coffee and cake. It really is in my opinion a retro style cafe with good wall decorations of music memorabilia. Background music was not too loud and while I was in the music was from the 70's. Good atmosphere, very friendly staff, great coffee, good size muffins and very reasonably priced.

This place is absolute class, the owner is so so friendly and is a credit to his business! The poached eggs on toast is beautiful, with a nice white coffee, I will be returning this coming Saturday! ☺️

From the moment you walk in to when you leave this place is a hidden gem. The owner is polite, friendly and is exactly what you need. The room is very well decorated and if you are a music lover then you must try here. From retro Duke Box to the photos on the wall, this venue screams cosy. Well priced and great service. Hey f this was a shop in a city centre is would be heaving and packed so if your around the town centre give this place a try and I promise you will not be disappointed.
