Always worth going here for my timber. Good selection, cut to size, staff always helpful with what I need. They also sell sheds, slabs, tools. Maybe a little expensive compared to some places but it’s local for me so saves the travel expenses
We had our 10’ x 6’ shed last year and it was so good that we didn’t think twice about adding a two storey playhouse. Our grandkids absolutely love it. Great service from Amy, Joe, John. The quality and fitting is excellent - thanks to Paul and the team. Cannot recommend Collis more highly and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.
They made a bespoke shed to exactly fit the awkward space I had available. It was a fair price and arrived and was put up on the morning of the delivery day quoted Excellent service

Brought a gate and had it fitted for my mam, have to say amazing service and would recommend them, not only did they do there job amazingly, but they also had to deal with me mam who has dementia and were so kind, they left no mess at all, just simply amazing xx we'll done mick and Co
Fantastic local diy store, staff always incredibly friendly and happy to answer my questions regarding any diy project, which is helpful as I know nothing. Well stocked and fairly priced. Always better to support local family run businesses!
The team from GE Collis and Sons came out to build and fit our shed/garden room a few weeks ago and we were extremely pleased with the service. The quality of work was brilliant and the speed in which it was completed was fantastic. The whole team were really helpful from the initial consultation through to the office staff. I would highly recommend them.
I had been shopping around for about 6 months before I settled on the Cedar log Cabin from GE Collis & Sons. It was the right budget and size for what I needed. Brilliant sales service, very smooth and happy to answer all of my questions, in particular about the prep and the concreate base which I installed myself beforehand. There was a delay with the building but they called me about a week before and managed my expectations which I was happy with. With the way of the world and issues with supply chains (especially wood) then it was no surprise things took longer than normal. I was just outside the catchment for the free installation service and they still honoured that The two chaps who put the building up were amazing, it was up in no time and the weather was awful which did not deter them one bit! I had lots of questions about insulating the building , which they were happy to answer while on site (I believe they offer this service, but I've done it myself). They also put a gutter along the back of the building for me which was above and beyond what I had originally requested. In return they got lots of tea and biscuits :) I organised a local sparky to do the lights and power Please see attached pic
