If you're looking for a reliable chemist, go elsewhere. This one is more than happy to waste your time, having you make multiple trips to collect what should be ready days before. My first visit... only had 6 of 56 tablets in stock so come back tomorrow. 2nd visit... not ready because chemist gone AWOL. I finally got my overdue prescription on my 3rd visit and not a hint of an apology. Instead all I got was "you should have used the text service". If I ran my business this way, I'd expect to last 3 months at best but these clowns get away with sloppy service because they are government funded. Definitely not recommended.
My son is on prescription milk we are always having to go mad over these erring things wrong now this time they have put my son in hospital by giving him wrong medication absolutely disgusting when confronted there nothing they can do we have spent last week at Manchester hospital and all they keep saying is they want that back because they messed up well too late now my son needs another surgery because of this I will be suing these
I have a very high regard for Higher Irlam Pharmacy who have been looking after my prescriptions for the last 25 years. I've tried other services but I found that they couldn't manage mistakes or new essential items as quickly as my local pharmacy. I'm extremely happy with the service this pharmacy provides. I even get texts or calls to let me know my prescription is ready to ollect.
Sue is absolutely amazing what fantastic service. She took my blood pressure, gave me some Covid tests and treated me with such kindness and respect. Small acts of kindness and friendly staff make all the difference x
I went for my flu jab today and noticed when I was sat in the consultation room that it hadn't been cleaned for a while, which is a bit worrying especially where vaccinations take place?
Really good pharmacist with polite trained staff.Better than the instore one at Tesco Irlam! Always seem to have the items instore compared to the Tesco pharmacist. Dont wait as long for prescription processing either!
Totally inefficient. Repeatedly claim not to have a prescription and have to be chased up by medical centre who sent it a week previously, whereupon they find it. Even when they have it, it is never ready despite having been sent 5 working days previously. Being asked to come back later is not helpful when I am picking up my aunt's prescription and don't live in the area. Have had enough and changed pharmacy,access.
Biggest problem is having to phone every month so ask if they have my repeat prescription ready and not following up with medication when they only have half of requested medicine. They don't let you know it has come in from suppliers and you can collect the shortage. Other than that helpful and lovely persons
I have been using this chemist for years without any problems, until the past few weeks. They rarely have my prescription ready, and the excuses are having problems with supplier, or it is being prepared at a different site, then when they get the stock in it wont be ready until tomorrow. average wait time for a prescription to be dispensed is a week.
