Woman claiming it’s β€œher cafe” was extremely rude and verbally abusive. No aggravation caused yet treated us so poorly, would never step foot on again and urge everyone else to avoid. Similar people also experienced this!

The staffs and manger are really rude! I was embarrassed in front of my six-year-old son and shouted at by your staff simply because my child accidentally spilled his drink on the floor. Furthermore, my child was told that he is β€œnot a child” and should not behave that way, which I found completely inappropriate!

If I could give it zero stars I would! My family and I were threatened with security removal after being humiliated infront of others diners. Scouse lady told us we couldn't consume drinks that were bought in the cafe, argued with us about the fact we had brought them in from outside (which we didnt) then proceeded to shout to another staff member to check the till for our purchases. I wouldn't mind but the place is vile, the food is dire and the staff are no better. Waited 45 minutes for a panini with 2 slices of chicken on and handful of luke warm chips. Staff stood around doing nothing, no napkins available and surrounding tables covered with dirty dishes. Asda, sort your staff out!!

Terrible needs shutting down and a different company taking over, prime location so much potential but clearly needs a massive overhaul, very dirty everything falling apart, poor service, nothing available not even forks. Best off shutting it down completely and starting over with a different company. Apparently it’s not even Asda that run it but company called Compass, definitely doesn’t help Asda’s struggling brand.

Had to wait for staff to come out who eventually did whilst eating her own food and had crumbs down her top and was spitting food when talking and touching her mouth. She seemed more interested in getting attention of security rather than serving us. Food was barely warm and the panini looked like it was ripped in half, definitely not cut with a knife ! Also picking up paper cups with fingers inside when the cups are stacked upside down so no need for this. The whole place is grotty and service is slow , won't eat there again. Needs a mystery shopper to go and properly review the place !

Called in for a brew. Teapot was rancid inside and out with a crack down the side and chunk out and don't get me started on the mugs. They'd not been cleaned. Stained dark brown inside and tea dribbles down the outside. Went back for a clean one and that was just as bad. The excuse.....oh the manager won't give me new ones. Never heard of washing up liquid and a sponge? If I could give less than 1 I would.

Tried the Β£1 soup and coffee deal for the over 60's . Overall a very humiliating and horrible experience. Diappointing and embarrassed doesnt cover it. Asked for the soup and roll offer. The Lady shouted out that they don't have any soup? Oh? There's an offer on your board. So my friend said do you have an alternative ? I'll ask. The lady in the kitchen shouted across it's just warming up. Oh that sounded promising then. So I asked was a latte included in the deal? She laughed out loud and very mockingly. Asda aren't going to give that for free!!. The advert on their board clearly said soup and a coffee. However, I said oh ok then thank you. Both myself and friend were treated coldly and very rudely. We had our ID ready just incase it was the reason for the bad reception. I kid you not! Some minutes later the smallest bowl ever seen before in asda came out with tomato and basil in it. Also not hot and just tepid. We couldn't face going back to ask for it to be warmed. The coffee we had was watered down, stewed tasting like it was from an urn and was quite frankly vile. In the end we just couldn't finish either. On return home I measured some liquid in one of my grand children's small bowls and I estimated approximately 100 -150 ml of soup maximum. Such a horrible experience, never to be repeated. Asda please teach your staff some customer service skills and a bit of courtesy. It was a shameful experience and very demeaning, that really doesn't help anyone in need. It was so uncomfortable and unnecessary.

Lovely friendly helpful staff and I spotted two go out of their way to be especially friendly and helpful to the elderly and young they were nice to everyone else but the two age groups above they could not have been nicer too.

Located within Asda store barons quay this cafe has ample seating. Queuing can sometimes take a while if you go at busy times mainly because there is only one coffee machine and not because the staff are slow. You can only go as quickly as the machines will allow i suppose. All of the Cafe staff are very polite friendly and helpful. There is table service here. It is reasonably priced. Asda cafe have Drinks loyalty cards. Get 6 stamps on your card and receive a free coffee.
